This made it to Fark? Huh. If people are interested in dishing on RPG Kickstarters I recommend the Kicksnarker G+ Community.

I'm only interested if you get to shoot Jane Austen and t-bag her corpse.

Nifty, I hope it sells. Even if not, they've gained some great experience, dreaming up a project and making it so.

Only if I get to play my favorite Jane Austen character.

when I saw RPG in the Fark headline, being old school, I thought Rocket Propelled Grenade rather than role playing game. Suddenly Jane Austen got a lot cooler in my mind...

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a Jane Austen RPG.

You could run Pride and Prejudice using the Fiasco rules. Of course, at the end of it, every character who isn't dead wishes they were.

There is already a Jane Austen role playing game that can accomodate that....

Am I the only one who read "Austin" as "Seymour"?

Since I'm half way through Gone with the Wind
I could easily see this applied to the antebellum South. The path a "Proper Lady" was narrow to day the least. The path that a "Gentleman" may tread was wider, but the lines where very close and you could get your butt capped in a field somewhere for not tugging your forelock to the right People
