The end of that 30 for 30 made me laugh.

Hey.  At least no one can accuse the Jets of cheating, right?

I like when parcells was about to say something he really wasn't comfortable talking about and suddenly the camera went out. I said to myself "the internet is gonna have a field day with this one."

It was a good program; I'd forgotten how good that 86 Giants D was and how big of a jerk Parcells can be.

I also loved how at the beginning they tried to paint it like this is the first time they've talked in a long time. They both have a place in the same building at yacht club here.

I don't know if they have talked publicly or on the record together about their time together - I thought that was more the point of the 30-30 episode.

I liked it, Reminded me of all their moves to different teams. Lotsa lols like the juxtaposition of their press conference styles.

One of the underlying themes of discussion about the Jets was that the relationship between the Jets and the NFL front office was extremely incestuous and created major favoritism toward them.  Most people don't care because they don't win.

That's true, but some of the cutaway at the beginning make it seem that way. Later they disclose when they burried the hatchet.

The Jets are a fun team.

Between the creative ways they can pull defeat from the jaws of victory, they win JUST enough so that unlike the Browns, the outcome is often a mystery until the end.

Patriots also want to forget about Bill Parcells.

Made the decision to leave for the NYJ days before the Patriots faced the Packers in SB XXXI. It was a huge team distraction and they ended up losing. It was Brett Favre's only superbowl win.

The one Patriots Head Coach between Parcells and Bellicheck was Pete Carroll of all people. Not the Pete Carroll of today; much more green (not in the seahawks way) and the team fizzled badly

Pete was also from the Jest staff.

It's funny you say that, since what kicked off Spygate was the Jets getting busted for the exact same thing as the Patriots, but before the memo was sent out reminding teams of the rule.

It must be awful to be a Jets fan.  The bit where neither Bill, with 7 rings between them, wanted any part of the Jets side of the stadium was hilarious for the rest of us

I'm loving this 30 for 30 though. Still don't understand the name "30 for 30" though. I mean, this one is an hour and a half. What does the 30 represent?

I think it was originally 30 films for espn's 30th anniversary, and then they just kept going.

Thanks, that would make sense.
