Kenichiro Yoshida, Sony Corp.'s chief financial officer, will take over as president-CEO as of April 1.

Why does it have to be a CFO to take over? I'd rather have a COO taking over, that way we could have the executive responsible in making sure the products and the business works before selling to it's customers rather than the guy who's going to say "Well, we could do this thing but it's going to be too pricey, so lets do the thing with cheaper materials and a marketing campaign that while cheaper overall could have paid for a better quality product!"
