He feels happy...

When Stan Lee does die they should just have someone else do the cameos credited as Stan Lee

2018-02-02 03:06:29 AM
I figure at this point they've required him to green screen a bunch of random little quips just in case.

Nah, they're gonna kill him off in Infinity War.

/Sorry, spoiler alert

They already did. Shot his cameos for the next 10 films before Dr Strange.

Or they'll just go the Star Wars: Rebels Grand Moff Tarkin route.

So, Stan Lee's feeling up for it again. Up Forit being his female nurse, of course.

With today's tech, they can just CGI him in.

Excelsior!

*anybody* who's still moving at 95 is pretty much a badass.

Stan has an amazing amount of energy for a guy that age. He signs autographs faster than anyone I've ever seen. I once saw him give a full interview during a signing session without missing a beat. I fully expect him to continue his convention appearances after he dies.

When he dies, all the non-CGI actors playing movie and TV Marvel characters should attend the funeral in full costume.

Stan is neither Uncle Ben nor Gwen Stacy. Therefore fair game.

Did the hospital run a test for Skrull DNA? How do we know this is the original Stan?

Have they brought back deadpool?  I heard he died in the comics.

Stan "the man" Lee, get it right.

Even if he does die, he'll just come back as either a clone, powered by the Phoenix, an alternate universe version of him, time displaced younger version of him, Skrull, or LMD.

So if we strike him down, he'll become more powerful than we can possibly imagine?

FTFA: So time to send out the battle cry: EXCELSIOR!" - his oft-used catchphrase.

. . . We're a PBS family. Ready Jet Go! is my son's favorite. There are soooo many geeky easter eggs in that show that my husband and I are constantly getting a kick out of it (building blocks look suspiciously like the Portal cube, for example).

Jet and his family often cry EXCELSIOR! Now I know why.

Oh, noes; how will civilization ever cope with seeing dead actors still 'living' in movies?

Well, there's dying after a long productive life, which while sad, tends to evoke fond memories and then there's dying in the prime of life, which is tragic and brings forward feelings of grief.  In the case of SNL performers, we have only the latter and the stories surrounding these deaths only magnify that grief: cancer, drug overdoses, and in one case, murder.

I thought subby was talking about Jean Grey, who is once again alive. So now there are two of them. Along with two Wolverines, not counting the other three not-Logan Wolverines.

Do you ever look at old photographs or movies and understand that those people were once alive but now are not? But fear not, it is not a ghost or horrible spectre you are seeing, merely a preserved image of them from a previous time

Not just the original Jean Grey but the past Jean Grey brought to the present.

Marvel's been doing that since shortly after (before?) the Beyonder Secret Wars in the 1980s.
