She called the district manager with the same claims but refused to show the patty to him or the restaurant's general manager, the suit says.

Managers checked and found no worms in other meat, the suit says.

I was once fired from Pig Burger for daydreaming that a burger had come to life and rocked out to "Everybody Wants Some".  The owner threw me into the lobby where my ex was sitting with her new jerk boyfriend who was the captain of the ski team.

Why would you be done? I would think it pretty common for the management to "accidentally" lose the evidence in cases like this. You appear to be brain washed to assume that businesses are honest and former employees are always some scurrilous individuals. The management has every advantage in denying this and no downsides.

Why did the employee refuse to show the meat in question to the managers?  I'm not at all surprised that management would claim they inspected the meat, but I'm VERY suspicious that the employee flat-out refused to present her evidence.

Look, I'm suspicious of management here too.  But I'm also not going to take a hyperbolic social media post at face value.

And you're doing the same thing an automatically assuming all management has nefarious motives.  So maybe check your uncalled for "brainwashed" accusations in the future.

She could have preserved the evidence and presented it to some other authority, not even affiliated with the restaurant.  Dept. of Health or something.  But as it stands all she has is accusation and no evidence.

A health inspector also found nothing. Government conspiracy?

Besides the photo and she being a witness?

Lowly worker to low to be believed I see.

I work in a food warehouse/distribution center. They tell us no photos allowed because of trade secrets.  It's really because of the rotting food that happens.  (yes I am sure it happens in most other distribution centers even ones not owned by the one I work in, it's the nature of the beast when you move millions of cases a month. Things get broke and it's impossible to clean every nook and cranny)

So I do know what I'm talking about and I suspect you don't.

Maggots are fascinating and flies really love crushed cat food cans.

Why is everybody dismissive of the claim of someone lower down on the totem pole? Now you are accusing her of faking a photo?  Next up arrest her?

Here you are doing the businesses work for them. Like no business has ever served rotten of spoilt (spelling) food ever and a couldn't just couldn't be the case here. No way sir ree.

Yall are a bunch of toadies and book lickers for just up and deciding in this case that the former employee is lying.  she might get a visit for the police/investigator and "confess" that she made it all up in exchange for a lenient sentence or by God they might drag her through the mud and ruin her life.  No.. not like that hasn't been done before.

you are very hung up on the societal status thing and are projecting this bias onto others assessment of the facts as they are being presented. if you told me this very same person spit on a burger and showed a pic of a loogied burger i would want to know the very same information. how do i know this burger is from the location in question and if it is, how do you know whose spit it is? the evidence as presented is garbage and needs some explanation and or accompanying documentation to make it mean anything

and you sir are an ignoramus and sadly apparently stuck in the lower rungs of the societal ladder and destined to stay there because you are too stupid to look at anything objectively and weigh evidence on its merit without your pathetic bias

so nyah nyah boo boo

That lump of meat is like 15 patties at the thickness they make 'em.

Wouldn't the entire restaurant be covered in flies?  The meat would have to been rotten in order for the female to want to use it as a place to lay eggs, then 24 hours to mature.  I think you might notice the stench of rotting meat while the maggots eat and mature for days.  150 plus eggs that become flies.

Rapmaster2000 is deserving of an unstated compliment.

I sit at the counter and watch the Mexicans cook my burger. They are crazy fast and there's no way any parasite would survive that. These same guys? 15 years on and these dudes don't have a better jorb? They are real good. Maillard all over the place.

Eh, hard to say.
Yes, employees would do this just to get back at an employer they hated.
Yes, management would dispose of any evidence they found and accuse the employee of lying about it.

It's just usually employees just up and quit with no notice, while management has every reason to sweep it under the rug as quickly and violently as possible.

Had bad management before. Had the salmonella outbreak in tomatoes, and we were supposed to throw out the tomatoes we had. But the manager kept them until the next week, when the heat had died, so to speak, to save money on a couple crates. It went into salsa, so old mushy tomatoes weren't as noticeable.
Same with a bad batch of avocado. A little brown, lost all its flavor. No way we're wasting money throwing that out. Make it up like normal and throw extra salt and spice into it.
Another didn't believe in sick days, and sick people just had to go in the back to do food prep so as to not notify to everyone in the world that a sick person was touching their food.

At the same time, could have just been a bad batch, even a single package, that

had maggots, but didn't make the whole place smell like rotten meat.
