That should really be referred to as the Darwin Challenge

/Just how dumb are you?

Why not do something like a Miralax challenge instead?. Unlike Tide Pods, this type of cleaning would be beneficial.

Darwin, and not giving a shiat about an idiot makes me smile on Sunday.

It's always fun seeing your hometown on Fark.
My elementary school was actually a "laboratory school" on USU campus, and I planted trees for my Eagle Scout project about a mile away.

Fun Fact:
USU has more science experiments sent into outer space out of any university, due to their proximity to the ATK rocket plant nearby (formerly called Morton Thiokol).

Also, the agricultural school has an amazing ice cream shop on campus, made from campus dairy cows. They have the best Blue Chocolate Chip Mint in the world.

Most people grow out of the "oooh colorful, I wanna taste" stage by age 4 or 5, at the most.

Now to the real question:  do Tide pods contain any caffeine?  If they do, he could get in some real trouble at BYU.

An adult consumed a detergent pod...? On purpose?

Truly it is amazing that this species has survived for so long.

FTFA:USU Police initially called the incident a "Tide Pod overdose", but Warren said the student in question ingested a Tide Pod.

This seems to suggest there is an acceptable number of tide pods that a person can consume before it is considered an overdose. WTF?

Morton Thiokol outsourced the manufacturing of the shuttle O-Rings to a company run by the FLDS.

Because apparently science (specifically chemistry in this case) is a political issue with the results, educating kids on pH (or anything for that matter) is also a political matter since budgets for education are constantly butting heads with military spending.

Gave me an excuse to peruse the Fox 13 site and find this article.

http://fox13now.com/2018/01/19/gov-herbert-every-reason-to-believe-utahs-national-parks-will-remain-open-during-government-shutdown/

Which lead to this website.

https://www.visitutah.com/plan-your-trip/federal-government-shutdown-information/

Basically it says "sure you can come to the national parks, but the roads aren't being plowed and the bathrooms aren't being kept clean...So have fun with that."

Maybe they should make it illegal,  that way only criminals would eat them.

If they make it a felony, they'd be cutting into the future Republican voting base.

Hmmmmm.

This is the second time this tour has been in my venue; today is the last day of this run, so it's two shows and a load out. It'll be a long day but I'll be entertained. I've watched 6 shows already this week and I can't stop laughing.

The creamery on the Washington State campus also has some killer ice cream, as well as cheese.  Cougar Gold is something else.  Then again, I would expect nothing less from an agricultural program at a university.

Its a really interesting musical and you have to give Stone, Parker, and Lopez credit for making the characters so lovable while trashing everything they hold dear.

Plus never in my life did I think I'd go to a Broadway play where they sing about farking God in the ass.

Or at least make it so ID is required to purchase all laundry pods, just like we do with cold medicines that MIGHT be purchased and used in the manufacture of methamphetamines.

Hit reply to soon, the quote from the link above:

"According to the American Association of Poison Control Centers, centers across the country handled 39 cases of people intentionally ingesting laundry detergent in 2016 among people aged 13 to 19, 53 cases in 2017, and 39 in the first two weeks of 2018 alone. . ."

Math seems to be so difficult, I am not sure they understand the significance of an absence of value.
