2018 is gonna be a shiat show for the GOP.
And Trump isn't going to take kindly to be told no one wants him to campaign for them.

this race is kinda weird.  i'm not sure the state GOP has their heads in this race, they've been running around being dicks to everyone since Trump won and well...now they're all shocked that Democrats even exist, let alone get votes.  not too bright, my local trumper GOP.  but what they lack in smarts they MORE than make up for with raw thuggery.

we're expecting a lot of voter intimidation in this election.

I have family members in that district and I certainly don't envy all the crap they're having to deal with right now in terms of ads and campaigning in general.

Trump's visit to Pa today was....strange.  even by trumpian standards, it was odd to see the President stumping for a GOP candidate like that.

About 4 months ago, I read that over 10,000 women have come forward to ask how to run for elected office for the first time.  IDK how many have actually launched campaigns, but I am seeing a LOT more female faces in city, county, state, and federal races.

A hard rain's a-gonna fall on the GOP.

same.

I'll bet we see a LOT of women turn out to vote in Pa for every election over at least the next 18 months or so.  I wonder if that's why the local pro life groups suddenly got reallllllllly quiet about outlawing abortion?

And following Trump to those same little House campaigns is Pence, the VP!  IDK if it's this race or another in PA, but I read today that those two will be followed by visits from every member of the Cabinet. Who in Hell does that?

Someone who is very, very afraid.

Let the GOP burn its financial and political capital like Uber burned $7 billion last year. That money will trickle down to the producers of ads, mostly small businesses employing middle class or lower people.  I am delighted to see this massive income redistribution, however illegally and corruptly it is done.

Or, really any part of PA that doesn't have a high-quality football team.

yeah, the GOP is hauling out the BIG GUNS for races that normally wouldn't even register on the national radar no matter who won....but I think the Trump administration is finally starting to realize that they are losing support.  they can't admit to how or why this is happening mind you (spoiler alert: its mostly trump's fault) but they're juuuuuuust smart enough to realize something's gone wrong and the Dems are winning more races than normal...but they've got no idea how to stop the bleeding.

Shooting pool in Carbon County earlier this evening. Remember Trump saying he could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Ave. and not lose a vote? He's probably polling about 80% in this area.

I realize this is off topic, forgive me, but is there a McDonald's located inside the White House now? Or does a Secret Service guy buy cheeseburgers from a local McDonald's and race to the White House with them every night? And if they do get burgers from an actual McDonald's don't they realize that pretty much everybody that works at McDonald's would gladly poison him?

According to the McDonald's website, there are three McD's within two or three blocks of the White House. I suppose you gotta cater to all the tourists, but that is still somewhat depressing. I wonder if D2S's minions cycle through them when ordering...

This district does cover Greene county the largest coal producer in the state, but it's not a fair indicator.  The population density is in the Pittsburgh exurbs where the big money R's live.  If they have had enough of this chaos there might be a flip.  It was D 20 years ago.

He's pretty much achieved both those already so he might as well claim them as Sekret Goals and declare victory.
