I'd love to see him play H.H. Holmes in an adaptation of 'The Devil in the White City'.

LOL, because Quentin Tarantino is where has-been actors go to die.

Not at all surprised there is a market for celebrating Charlie Manson in Hollywood.
The rest of the world?
Crap, I hate when I underestimate human sickness.

Which is a weird reversal in how his career started.

Surprised he hasn't been hit with a sexual harassment scandal yet, he's quite the cocksman.

DiCaprio not Tarantino.

Still no lovers of irony in here about Tarantino popularizing a guy who really knew how to abuse women?

Checked IMDB and yes, it is listed as "In development" and di Caprio is the only cast member so far.

Saw Django the other day for the first time in a few years.  Great flick and Leo's acting was top-notch.  Will see this flick

It's a shame Daniel Day-Lewis has retired from acting, I would love to see his interpretation of Charles Manson in an actual, serious Manson film.

Not really, but you get the drift.

Do not underestimate Day-Lewis.  He's such a method actor that he'd hack off the bottom half of his legs to get into character.

As an aside, I had NO Idea Manson was only 5'2".  Explains a lot.

I do not understand this headline.
Leo just won an Oscar. He has worked with Quinton before, and Quinton has also won an Oscar.

What is the issue?

DiCaprio is DiCaprio in Titanic, Catch Me If You Can, and possibly, since it's 20 years later, in Departed.

Watch Gilbert Grape, The Aviator, and Blood Diamond, and tell me he's "being himself" in those films too.

It could be possible that his intimate relationships were consensual. It might happen occasionally.

I will recognize your point on those. And I'm not saying that he doesn't do the work competently. Is just that, to me, the dude just has a default mode in which he never actually becomes a character, he is DiCaprio "as" whatever. Which is fine most the time, I guess. But he ain't no Gary Oldman

"Body Double" is a great psychological thriller starring Melanie Griffith. The male lead (a struggling actor) tries getting a job in a prono starring Melanie Griffith, to investigate her role in a murder cover-up.

The pron director asks him to read some lines from the pron script.
"What's my character's motivation?"
The director stares at him distastefully. "Whaddayou, a method actor?"

Not everybody thinks that dialog is as hilarious as I do.

It's a darn shame that Paul Brittany played The Unabomber in Manhunt on Netflix. He was pretty good in that role; I think he'd play a good Manson too.
