35,000 is a good year. 70,000 is a bad year. We could be facing a very bad year. I don't know. The thing about the future is that you can never predict it except in hindsight.

I just know that I don't want to attend any more funerals in my lifetime. I am hoping my funeral will be the next and that it will be ridiculously post-poned.

Worse, a false golden (orange) idol was elected, and now the book of Revelations is upon us.

We got to see some nice fires and enjoy the cozy smell of smoke. Then we got to enjoy lovely rain showers while staying home with the flu cuddling up in bed watching movies instead of going to work. Now we get our mental exorcise from driving hours a day in traffic trying not to crash, and also get our physical exorcise digging our houses out from tons of earth.

What is there to complain about!

you forgot we had 5 years of drought recently

Been the cycle as long as I can remember, probably back to before recorded history.

Drought, things get really dry, then deluge.. lots and lots of rain..a season of vegetation growing like nobody's business...then, fire, all that vegetation gets a little dry and burns.

Then, some rain again, barren hillsides start sliding like molasses. But, yeah, it's probably Trump's fault and "climate change".
