Sounds like LeBron needs a two-week trip to Miami to...uh...recharge. And by "recharge", what I mean is "score some PEDs under the table from the Caribbean."

Turns out he and Blake Bortles have more in common than we thought.

While I don't like LeBron at all, I can't sh*t on him too much for this one.

/ after hearing a Charles Barkley interviewer asking him if he regretted not winning a championship
// Barkley: there were four other guys on the court with me, ask them that

The Cavs are sucking just enough to make the Eastern Conference compelling. Like maybe they won't bullrush their way through behind Super Playoff LeBron again before getting trounced by the Warriors again. Maybe the Celtics will do it. Maybe the Raptors. Maybe even the Sixers (probably not).

Or... we can realize we've been here before with LeBron and his usual cast of veterans on one-year deals who don't get up for the regular season because they're saving their legs for the postseason they know they're making. About a third of the rotation players are these types (Calderon, Wade, Green). They've had a lot of injuries and a lot of new faces to work in. I'm not as confident in the Cavs as I was last year or the year before, but I think the whole world would be right to say "I'll believe it when it's the playoffs and it matters".

Uh-oh.  LeBron is getting the Tito Santana de-push in the scripts...

Then they blow a 20-something lead to the Pacers without their best interior defender in the game.  The Celtics got an absolute steal in that Irving trade.  Irving and Lebron were a legit 1 and 1A scoring option.  Thomas is a different type of player to Irving, albeit a very good one.

I tend to agree with the poster above; they're saving themselves for the playoffs.  I think the Raptors, Celtics, and even the Pacers can give them a scare in a 7 game series.

And the Pacers didn't know enough to miss a free throw on purpose so LeBron almost pulled off last night.

This is the regular NBA season where a loss or 3 means nothing. Its basically the same as NFL preseason

Farking Pacers. They've had a few games where they've snatched defeat from the jaws of victory this season.
