(Punctuation Truth For All)   It is well known that President Truman had no middle name, just an "S". However, he signed his name with a period after the S. Which obviously meant something. But what? S is the first letter of S. So his middle name was S and his middle initial was S. Therefore, both Harry S Truman and Harry S. Truman are correct. One is writing out his full name and one is just using his middle initial.
