I like how every winter, Massachusetts towns and the state have always complained about blowing through their winter snow removal budget by January, despite the fact that bad winter weather isn't something unexpected. And don't get me started on the people in Massachusetts who seem to forget, every winter, how to drive in snowy conditions.
