You have to be an unbelievably terrible driver to lose control like that just because it rained. Oh, it's Texas? Well, that explains it.

Yes, I bet the skid marks were quite a challenge to clean up.

Dude looks like he could have hurt the vehicle.

There was a much less Daily Fail version of this article which also bothered to go into details, such as the home owner petitioning the city to do something about the curve, because this wasn't the first accident there.

The driver is lucky he barely missed running into the Incredible Hulk.
Insurance usually doesn't cover that.

I went to college in Arizona, with summer tires on my car. Then it snowed. So I'm going down the road with a light coating of white stuff and here comes a coyote crossing in front of me. I touched my brakes and of course my wheels immediately lock up, sliding with no perceptible change of direction or velocity. I was impressed to see the coyote look at me, listen to the hiss of the car sliding, and casually get out of the way.

little big man: The old Texas U-turn!

Looks like it.  Threw a brick at the gas pedal as soon as it pointed somewhere road-like.

Is this supposed to be a metaphor for something?  Our own troubled times?  Is Trump driving the car, and that's Obama, gone to seed?  Yet, Trump still fails.  Am I the wet pavement?  The lawn?  Why does there happen to be a camera recording it all?  Is it a TV show?  Why am I reading the Daily Farking Mail?

So many questions.

That must have been a wily coyote.

Well that's one way to do a U-turn.  J-turn?  &-turn?

That was a great Q-turn.

In any case, I bet it messed up the alignment on that car. Plus, by the looks of the guy, looks like he was wearing prescription pants.

What happened next here? I see someone get out of the car and run toward the guy they almost hit.

Judging from the shape of the pedestrian, the problem was his gravitational attraction.

Yes inquiring minds need to know. Looks like the car was actually intentionally aiming for him?

There's a difference between casually and ponderously; and I don't think those pants could HOLD another few pounds...

I bet the woman driver ended up with a pants full though.

Not sure. I searched for an answer, but couldn't find one, except I found out it happened in Russia. The driver was probably running back to see if the pedestrian was okay, but not sure.
