The reason I never got into comics was because the people writing them always seemed to be male virgins with Aspergers and they were more depressing than my actual life, fanfics should be much more relatable.

/is that offensive enough?

According to the terms of use, there are a number of things you aren't allowed to include in comics created with Create Your Own, including:
Content that could frighten or upset young children or the parents of young children
Double entendres
Sensationalism (killer bees, gossip, aliens, scandal, etc.)
Obscenity, bad or offensive language, proxies for bad or offensive language (X@#%!), body parts, or noises related to bodily functions
Politics (lobbyists, PAC sites, political campaigns, alternative lifestyle advocacies)
Other controversial topics (social issues, etc.)

The Avengers pull up in front of a spooky mansion in the team van. They all pile out, and Captain America says "Let's split up, gang!"
...and it turns out the evil spaceman was old man Magneto in a rubber mask the whole time!

The laughed overed quickly though because John Freeman yelled "LOOK OUT BRO!" and pointed up to the top of the sky. Gordon Freeman looked up and said "NOO! John Freeman run out of here fast as you can!" and John Freeman walked real fast out.

I worked at the Star Trek Experience for awhile, and a bad part of that meant listening to fans stupid ideas of what should come next. This was back in 2000, so a lot of them involved "passing the torch," like, Picard passing the movie "torch" to Sisko, who would later pass the "torch" to Janeway.

It was then that I realized fan fiction is truly terrible, and I hadn't even read any yet.

/said "torch" as many times as this dude said it to me.
//Mary Sue comes from Star Trek fan fiction. Very fitting.

I really hate the"what should happen next" people. My job, oversimplified, is to build things, not write content. I leave that work to the professionals in that field. I want them to surprise and entertain. Any investment in what "should" happen is recipe for disappointment. Same applies to SW:TLJ critics.
/We're you entertained?

So you aren't allowed to post anything. Got it.

Don't worry, the experienced artistes of AO3 and Tumblr have already decided to flood them with porn, just to get up their nose.

Really, if Marvel had announced "send us all your Stucky Omegaverse Ageplay smut" they would have come out better off.

A few years ago, I had thought of a story involving the Friends of Humanity, focusing on a new leader who was slightly less overt and far more manipulative. As in hire mutant mercenaries for a false flag and have some elite former soldiers stop them so he could rebuild the organization. It was, in essence, a story about building a fascist organizations with all the dirty little details, double dealing, manipulations, lies and thuggery that was actually involved but is often glossed over put in the spotlight. In the Trump era it might feel a little too much on the nose though.

Not like its the first time... I recall them doing a contest around the Mutant Registration Act when the X-Men were at peak around the time of the Dark Phoenix saga.   You could submit a character idea for a Mutant and choose to be registered or not; the character (by contest rules) then became Marvel property whether they chose to use it or not.   I chose to keep my character ideas to myself;  maybe now is the time to find a moe lucrative way to apply them..
