The real meat of the week happens on Tuesday with the RvB London Derby, and the first of two matches in 3 days for Spurs, playing at Swansea and then Thursday at home for the East London Derby.

Seems like only 2 days ago there was a game....oh wait.....
Come early tomorrow afternoon, I will probably be sobbing as Palace will undoubtedly get marmalised by Citeh.

I'm looking forward to Newcastle v Brighton. That will be a shock result if either team wins.

Based on recent form it would be a surprise if both teams didn't lose.

I am expecting Newcastle to say "Fark it, Brighton, here's a win for you!", and to lose to Brighton 2-0.

You cannot expect me to keep the schedule straight when I am awake late at night waiting to hear from my MIL on when she and my stepson will be getting in after their flight was delayed out of Michigan, and either they missed their connection in Minneapolis or the flight was cancelled due to weather.  Either way, we are hoping they will arrive safely today around noon.

I have actually been gaining ground despite once again being the bottom feeder.

Karius in goal for Liverpool today.  Not sure what this will do to my prediction

good thing there wasn't an early match, forgot to put in picks last night

Missed the start of the piece, but the BBC radio people are having a moan about a mid table team playing a weakened team against a top 4 side because they have a more winnable game on Monday.

I think it's the Chelsea game they're taking about.

2017-12-30 10:01:36 AM
That Liverpool back line still looking all 6s and 7s

Well that's not how to start a game if you're Liverpool.

Or Stoke.

2017-12-30 10:03:56 AM
Oh FFS, Liverpool.

Rudiger with the header

Well I guess if we needed any more evidence as to why Liverpool are breaking the transfer fee record for a defender, there it is.

Milner booked

How did Salah not get that on net.
Even had Kasper going the wrong way.
Should be 1-1

Both squads in the Chelsea-Stoke are going to be the B-team, basically, because Chelsea's *other* match this double-match week is against ArseneAL (who are playing Wet Broom tomorrow).

Yeah...the RvB London Derby is a much bigger match.

Another chance or 2 squandered by Liverpool.

As expected. The Swans are in competition with Newcastle right now to see which team can lose the most matches this season (but I expect Bournemouth to catch up to, and surpass, Newcastle in that category in the 2nd half of the season).

3 for Chelsea now. Stoke fans probably wish they'd stayed home, at least they can leave early and go enjoy the sales in London instead.
