That '70s Show had it constantly. Mila Kunis was probably the worst offender, but all of them have been caught laughing and still working it into the show.

Theater term.  It's basically people breaking character by trying and failing to keep a straight face mid-scene.  The term comes from cases where someone's supposed to be dead, but can't keep from snickering anyway.  Classic "the moment you know you can't scratch, that's when you have to."  It's a common problem with ad-libbed material.  It's considered a mark of honor to be someone who's renowned for never corpsing, but actors being actors, it's an even bigger mark of honor to be the one who can make that guy in the first category break.

That interview showcases the worst part.  After it happens in the first couple of takes, you start becoming very self-conscious about it.  You start thinking "whatever you do, don't laugh.  Everybody's going to be pissed if you laugh.  The worst thing you can do at this moment is laugh.  DON'T LAUGH."  That thought repeating in your head will invariably get you started laughing in subsequent takes.

Fun fact: the late (as of yesterday, RIP) great Rose Marie is why we have Tim Conway. She was in Cleveland to promote the Van Dyke Show and met Tim Conway, then a local actor doing skits for the local station. She became his manager and got him his first big job, as a regular on ABC's The Steve Allen Show.

Eric Idle biting the scythe to stop corpsing in the " we have found a witch" scene of Holy Grailis classic Python corpsing.  As is Palin cracking up during the "anyone one else fancy a little giggle" moment of the Biggus Dickus scene in Life of Bwian.

GypsyJoker: As is Palin cracking up during the "anyone one else fancy a little giggle" moment of the Biggus Dickus scene in Life of Bwian.

The Biggus Dickus scene as a whole is the finest example of corpsing in all of film.  The Pythons needed the soldiers to be trying to fight the urge to laugh for the scene to work, so they famously told the extras that anyone who laughed during that scene would be fired.  Suddenly the idea of laughing during the scene was in all their heads, and they knew they had to avoid it at any cost.  Credit to the extras, they did an incredibly good job at biting it back until Palin actively started getting two inches away from them and forcing the laugh like he did.  The contorted looks on their faces were 100% real.

During a live performance, I completely agree, and it's considered a dick move, unless it's happening as a result of being forced to improvise (it's live, shiat happens).  During a rehearsal (or filming, in the case of tv/movies)?  That's another story.  Show me an actor, and at least half the time, I'll show you an attention whore.  Hell, there's a reason lawyers and actors have the overlap they have.  The finest moment for actors in a comedic play is that feeling when they have to pause because the audience is laughing so hard.  i'm reminded of at least one show where they have that pause, and one of my friends (an older, relatively experienced actor, turned to his younger costar and swears he thought to them "that's it, kid, that feeling is what it's about right there."  In cases where it wouldn't hurt the performance itself, is it any surprise that getting the self-professed "consummate professional" to utterly collapse is a mark of pride for these people?

Apparently, Hader's much beloved Stefon character on SNL was essentially a cue card version of attempting to corpse Hader. Many of the lines were written or changed immediately prior to his going on stage, and he seldom knew exactly what he was going to have to say. Those sketches are often brilliant and hilarious, as you can tell Hader is fighting a laugh with all his might.

Rescue Me spoilers***

After Dennis Leary's son is hit by the drunk driver he is rushed to the hospital. In the scene where he is rushed in on a gurney with a team in slo mo to dramatic music, one of the nurses can be seen with a huge ass grin right at the onset. The camera then pans across the scene with another person passing in front of the nurse for a split second. When the body passes the nurse is now super upset, serious, and grimacing.

It's pretty funny one you notice it.
