Now it makes sense.

That's why I'm thinking, maybe for Space Jam 2, Michael Jordan gets killed in the first scene, he's playing golf with Donald Trump, and that's when Mr. Trump has to join forces with the Looney Tunes to find out what happened.

I already have a draft where Donald Trump debates Daffy Duck on the repeal of Obamacare, and at the end, Daffy gets hit with an anvil and his premiums skyrocket.  Then Bugs and the other characters lecture the audience on the dangers of unchecked government.

By my estimate, the whole sequence takes up the better part of 170 minutes, but damn if it isn't worth it.  Mel Blanc would definitely be proud.

Yeah, no sports metaphor will ever work with Donald, you have to actually earn trophies and rings with skill and athletic ability.  Your daddy buying you a Superbowl ring on Ebay doesn't make you the MVP.

Speaking of which, if D2S was half the man he likes to think he is, why hasn't he gotten Kraft's ring back from Putin?

Because he's Putin's little b_tch mainly.

Jordan spent his first three years with the Bulls with no other great players but took them to the playoffs each time.  After they picked up Horace Grant and Scottie Pippin, the Bulls made the conference championship every year and won the NBA title for three years in a row after Jackson became their head coach. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Chicago_Bulls_seasons

Horace Grant was good. He wasn't great.  Same with Paxson. Other than Pippen there are no great players on the Bulls until maybe Kukoc. And maybe Rodman but he was so one dimensional as to be comical.

Will Perdue? BJ Armstrong?

The first Three Peat Bulls teams aren't exactly loaded except for Pippen and of course the best player in the world at his peak.

Let's walk that back a bit and instead of Montana maybe we should go with Doug Williams. Never the GOAT but still very good.

How good was the Eastern Conference in 2007 compared to the Jordan era?

/Obama is not GOAT POTUS

///If conservative, he's still worse than everyone but President Hillary Clinton

This argument is so repetitive. They should just get everyone together and hash it out once and for all. Come up with some kind of, I don't know, final solution.

Not really that far off. The West had all the talent back in those days, too.

Speaking of sweeps...that's Jordan's entire playoffs career pre-Pippen. I like that multiple-time All-Stars before a severe injury are now "good, not great" and Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman is "too one-dimensional"

Jordan stans are hilarious.

Jordan played the bulk of his career in a no-defense league. Bird (back), Isiah (ankle), Magic (HIV), Bias (death), Petrovic (death) all had their careers ended prematurely. The drafts in the years after he entered sucked for about a decade (go look at career win shares for drafted guys, there are several years where there's no top-tier talent - Pippen and Grant are 2 of the top 5 or so). That makes it easy when, as you're aging, everyone else who's any good is just as old as you.

He played in an era of massive expansion, diluting the league's talent.

The NBA now is full of more talent than it ever was in the '90s. Anyone suggesting otherwise is deluded.
