Why the outrage? He apologized and publicly stated the exact opposite of what people got mad at him for saying in private. All is well with the world again.

/Seriously- what parents let that happen. Oh, nanny state.

Whether it's a sport or not, he's one of the dozen or so best people in the world at it, and if you're "one of the best in the world" at many things (especially ones that get you paid millions of dollars), you will become famous, and people will pay attention to what you say, regardless of if you have an expansive knowledge of the subject you discussed.

Sure Iggy, that's why if you GIS "Iggy Pop", that image is the ONLY ONE where you're dressed like a woman. (There's a questionable one that looks like a screengrab but it looks like he's just wearing lipstick.)

I mean, they certainly CAN wear dresses to school, but there will also be consequences that can't be undone, and most parents try to avoid those situations.

An adult berates and insults a child (not *his* child, mind you)...and you side with the adult bully who clearly suffers from various insecurities.

Interesting.

I wonder what insecurities this brings up in you that cause you to take the side of a bully?

I think his use of a homophobic slur regarding a child gives you some idea.

I didn't see the age of the kid in the article and I'm too lazy to find another source, so I guess I'll just generalize and prepare to get flamed:

When I see these stories on the internet of young boys wearing dresses and "expressing their gender" and the mommy proudly showing this situation off, my first thought is always "child abuse." I've heard too many stories, mostly through my wife, of women who break down in literal tears of disappointment after a "gender reveal" to think this never happens.

Races? You mean he lead a lot of parades. Let's not confuse F1 with actual racing where there is passing and strategy.

I have no idea if he is interested in car racing, though I'd venture a guess that he's less uninterested in it than I am, which is just fine. You jumped on him for no damned reason with accusations that he follows you. Don't even know him but clearly he's interested in car racing so the odds are far greater that he came here due to that rather than some paranoid delusion of yours that he's stalking you.

As far as butting in, it's my right. I take it as a point of pride to tell people who are acting like assholes that they are in fact, acting like assholes.

I don't even know, there was a thread about New York City sidewalk ettiquette a couple days ago where I was idly biatching about pedestrians that wear black from head to toe because they're hard to see and this guy went on a rant about right of way. And by "idly biatching," I mean really idly, since I haven't owned a car in nearly 2 years.

I guess he thinks there's some connection between that and my initial comment in this thread?

Fark it, I was just trying to make a joke here. Of course there was no actual connection and I doubt you even remembered my username (it took me a while and I had to go back to the earlier thread and say "wait, is that the same guy...."). It didn't come across properly and that's my fault. Luse doesn't even know what he's inserting himself into, but that doesn't stop him.
