Fast boat to the Bahamas.  small plane to Cuba and then direct flight to Moscow.

Trump's budget cut funding for the Coast Guard.  It would be hilarious of they decided to troll Manafort by having a cutter patrolling offshore.

But let's say he makes it. If Manafort flies the coop, especially to Russia, everybody else indicted from here on out will sit in a cell for years while they await trial. It makes them all flight risks if Russia takes in Manafort. Or they're going to have to come up with a hell of a lot more than $10M bond.

Anywhere in Florida? Or only in the middle of the Everglades?

If this isn't part of some plot to conceal a flip, and Manafort, with his decades of criminal activity is not really a likely canidate, the judge is corrupt or retarded.

Are we LARPing Paul Manafort as Jason Bourne again?

Noooo, not Florida!  I'll be good, honest!  Please don't make me live with them!  Can you perhaps give me the electric chair instead?

Paul Manafort would probably be safer in prison. He can't travel but spetsnaz could get to him and finish him off.

Why would it be Spetznaz? It would be more likely to be people like Phil & Liz from  "The Americans"

I'm pretty sure we could hear it from Norfolk.

If Manafort flees and the value of the four properties ends up being less than $10 million, Manafort's wife and daughter have agreed to serve as sureties to make up the difference.

How much for the women? How much for the little girl?
No, really, what can they be sold for?

Or it could be bait for a trap set by Mueller to see if Manafort might try to flee, and the judge is in on Mueller's plan (which would make you technically correct on the "corrupt judge" part).

Mueller is competent enough to pull it off; he had Greek George wearing a wire for months before anyone found out, and the only reason anyone found out was because Mueller himself felt it prudent to make that tidbit public knowledge (along with the implication that Georgie Boy wasn't the only one mic'd up). He also flipped Flynn, and there is a non-zero chance that Flynn went State's Evidence months ago.

If Manafort truly was a criminal mastermind, he probably would not have joined the Trump crime family in the first place.

/someone else hypothesized in another thread that Mueller is setting a trap for Manafort, although not in these exact words
//if this is the case, then there's no way Manafort can so much as fart silently without Mueller's team knowing about it
///also, this trap is an "Admiral Ackbar is doing a Tommy Lee Jones impersonation and just staring silently and disapprovingly at Manafort, as if the latter is dumber than a pallet of lead on a rowboat with a screen door for a keel"-level trap
/\/Manafort might actually be that dumb, since being smarter than Trump seems to be a disqualification for working in his administration

Wait, think about it. Get them all out on millions in bond, and then poof, they're russia's problems?
So, now they're useless to the russians and in russia. And we got a little money back. Plus whatever we can seize.

Damn you, Subby, for linking to BuzzFeed and their right margin clickbait.  I can't resist their "Choose a Starbucks Beverage and we'll tell you your best lipstick colour" polls.  And I'm a straight white USian male.

I want the last two hours of my life back.

And the 3 MegaJoules of electricity their pages made my computer burn.

If he cares about himself, Russia is the last place on Earth he wants to go. If you remember, when he was indicted, $24 million from Paulie's laundromats got marked for seizure. That means he lost millions that belonged to dangerous people. That's not even considering the problems he has in Ukraine.

For Manafort, trying to make a break for Russia means getting fed to pigs after landing or getting thrown out of the plane over the Atlantic.

oh please.  you peasants don't even know season is ramping up in Palm Beach County.  he's right where he wants to be.

I mean, Jeffrey Epstein's trial has him tied up at the moment and Manafort probably isn't going to get invited to Mar-A-Lago for Christmas goose, but there's still plenty to do here in the Palm Beaches.  He could always pop in on Don Black for a surprise visit to Stormfront.  Ann Coulter will probably be rattling around her Winter home.  It won't be the same without Roger Ailes though.

/I already knew this neighborhood was going to shiat when that Woods boy got pulled over for impaired driving and Venus Williams killed that old guy.  I just wrote those off as "crazy black people".
