We once needed to buy sandbags for use inside an MRI. $5000. For sand bags. Not like we could just pop over to home Depot and hope there wasn't any metal fragments.

A cheap medication that expands blood vessels might help drugs work better. Whodathunkit?

Inadvertently brilliant headline illustrates Profit-based American Medical Conundrum beautifully; READ THE HEADLINE AGAIN,and notice how it breaks this all down into the three groups of people 1. Those researchers happening to notice adding aspirin to a cancer drug makes it work better, and 2. Those waiting behind desks to squeeze every dollar possible out of the whole idea as an idea. (That's two.)
The third group of people (mentioned least) is who boys and girls?

That's right! It's you and me! Being researched upon in this over-industrialized treatment-as-research (but somehow for profit) hatchet job, bottom-liner medical care system subversion
that took a left on not-right street twenty years before you probably even got here.

further research has proven that Big Pharm uses fear very successfully to build mountains of money and drain the Nation dry.
