Irrespective of whether Pam Anderson was really offering advice or not, I will opine that it's probably not a good thing if we got so hypersensitive to victim-blaming that no one can even advise people how to avoid becoming a victim.

"...Anderson responded that the victims still should've had someone accompany them for those discussions."

That is just farked up.

Surely you agree, though, that there's a difference between "Don't go alone into a man's hotel room" and "Those women shouldn't have gone alone into a man's hotel room"

Everything she said is fact.  Going against her advice is how you catch hepatitis.

Having consentual sex with Tommy Lee isn't sexual assault no matter how busted up he leaves your cooter. Dont tell me you didnt see it before he got it in there. You could spot that thing from across the street through clothing.

I saw her butthole.  I liked it.

I feel bad for Pamela. She comes across as a nice person who would have been so much happier without the fame and fortune.

Is she still in Julian Assange's orbit?   Really Pam?

How does Pam Anderson still have enough money to afford a publicist?

Maybe she lives modestly and doesn't blow her moeny on dumb shiat....basically what Matt Lauer will have to start doing.  She did make a ton of f*cking money back in the day and probably still makes more in a year than most of us from licensing deals and stuff like that.

It's an open secret that porn stars are frequent victims of sexual assault by casting agents, directors and even fellow actors

And at the end of the day they are just slut shamed because it's considered part of their job

That voice though...that's hard to listen to.

That's possibly the most reasonable thing I've ever seen posted here.

I agree with her, by the way.  100%.  What the hell do you expect when someone wants to meet you in a farking hotel room and answers the door in a bathrobe?

Licensing what? Inflatables? Bean bag chairs?

She's already made more money that most people will make in five lifetimes....and she's still getting paid gigs as an actress/celebrity.  She's been in several films in 2017 alone.

She made more per episode of Baywatch than most American's were making in an entire year.

she wasn't being an asshole, and she wasn't wrong.

hell, she was 100 percent correct.

not outraged.

In that top photo she looks like Kellyanne Conway.

"It was common knowledge that certain producers or certain people in Hollywood are people to avoid, privately," said Anderson to Kelly. "You know what you're getting into if you're going into a hotel room alone."
"Don't go into a hotel room alone," Anderson added. "If someone answers the door in a bathrobe, leave. This is things that are common sense, but I know Hollywood is very seductive and the people want to be famous. Sometimes you think you are going to be safe with an adult in a room. I don't know where this security comes from, but somehow I dodged it all."
Anderson posted a response to her interview Friday on Instagram: "Backlash is good. - I like this. My position is not 'problematic' because I doesn't fall in line with the common herd or trend. I'm trying to tell women as a survivor of childhood abuse myself - It is important to be proactive as an adult who knows better - in defending themselves."

She could pass for Kellyanne Conway, or play her in one of those shiatty made for tv movies on Lifetime.
