There are unfortunately a lot of these kind of kids out there. In Camden NJ one of the hospitals runs a program called "CASTLE" and it's strictly for pediatric behavioral health.  I took a 9 year old out of there once who said he was going to stab his classmate.

There are way, way more of these kids than people think. So of course it's the right time to screw with mental healthcare.

"How did this little girl even get access to the keys?"

Um, what? I would guess she just picked them up off the counter or table, or wherever the family keeps their keys. They're car keys for Christ sake, are these idiots suggesting parents should lock up car keys like they're handguns or something?

My daughter teaches grade school kids. The tiniest itty-bitty kid in the schools she teaches in talk about violence. 6 year olds come up with stuff that would break your heart to hear.

Now is not the time to talk about truck control. May as well lock her up now and save the courts the hassle of future murder charges.

I knew we were farked as a society when you couldn't even buy laundry detergent at places without the cashier having to remove a security device.

Tide detergent is a common target of shoplifters. I'm not sure why Tide, exactly.

This time of year I like to change my detergent to a brand I rarely use and isn't as prevalent as it used to be anyway.

Yes, I like me some Christmas Cheer.

The tricky thing with that is that as a nation we don't have enough psychiatric nurses.  Here in Vermont we've got a whole wing of the newly constructed state hospital we can't open because we can't recruit enough psychiatric nurses to work there.

Interesting example.  Those  security devices look like they are designed to prevent theft, not to prevent opening the container and killing people with the product.  If those would prevent you from opening the container to kill people with the product, they are superfluous because you are already doomed in your goal.

Fine.

Amend the age requirements and let her join her favorite branch of the armed services. There's plenty of our enemies that need taking care off.

We one a famous one in New Jersey.. Ancora psychiatric hospital.. Place is as creepy as you'd hoped it would be. State funded too so you know they get the absolute best of the best care and modern facilities in the world. (sarcasm)  Guards at the exit and entrance.  We're dropping people off there on the regular and they are the definition of crazy.. These are people who are way beyond just dealing with a little bit of depression or bi-polar disorders.. There is no legitimate way of "fixing" them. They are just wired wrong and can not exist normally in society..

In certain zones of america the dealers started taking in tide in lieu of cash because its easily resellable, expensive  and the police wont take it when they catch them in stops, but will take all of their cash.
