"Damn, dude...what'd you eat?!"

A neighbor helped Danielle Craven retrieve a spinytail iguana out of 1 of her toilets. A Tampa Bay-area wildlife rescue agency that helped get it named it Flushy. (Angie Angers, staff)

out of 1 of her toilets?  Couldn't type O-N-E?  Also, Flushy?

"The toilet was clogged - on Sunday morning, it was clogged - so my husband unclogged it, and we just thought it was the kids using too much toilet paper. And this thing pops up 12 hours later," Craven said.

Twelve hours later??  Did they not think to call a plumber?  One would think it was still clogged...  Or it's unrelated.

What is she worried about? A guy could lose a testicle.

If that happened to me, I think I'd likely say, "I don't guana live here any more."

On the plus side, it would be an instant cure for constipation.

Good thing it was just a small one. Course I guess a big one wouldn't fit up the loo.

Saw a big one in the parking lot at work a year ago. Creepy.

An iguana is not the worst thing I have seen in a toilet.

Back in my Florida days I saw a huuuge one.  Must have been 8 feet from tip to tail.

I'd be willing to bet the huge colony is still there where the Turnpike crosses the Hillsboro canal.

We have a family of iguanas outside at work here in the Middle Keys. They come out from wherever they hang out, eat some grass, then go back to wherever they hang out. I don't mind our iguanas. Don't want them to eat your plants? Plant anti-iguanas plants, the ones they don't like.

They are like squirrels up north, lots of them. Iguanas, squirrels of the south. Really. (Though Keys are not part of the south, or even South Florida).

So she's never going to use that toilet again. Good thing those things aren't connected or anything

Yup. My sister and I used to spend about 6 weeks , for several summers, in Ft. Lauderdale.  Our fondest memories were of driving down to Key West, often stopping at Big Pine(y) (??) Key and Islamorada!  I love the fact that the keys are another realm.  (except for the infrequent hurricanes).
