"Read this comic!  It's gonna be great, even though I've clearly only read the press release!"

Star Trek took care of the Space Hippies a long time ago.

Is this Booster's first in continuity appearance since he vanished at the end of justice league international?

I didn't know doomsday clock was out today. I was just in my LCS last night... my guy didn't tell me.
thanks fark
I just updated the google docs list of my series requests and called him to throw a lenticular cover #1 in my box.
the shared google doc is a new thing he's trying for club members and I promised him it was a bad idea... for my wallet.

Now if Geoff Johns can bring some coherent plot and enjoyable characters to the DC Cinematic Universe, he will have really accomplished something.

For DC, Watchmen is like that one ex you had in college; the perfect one that you never should have let get away and was kind, loving, and not insane. The one you try to get back together with years after the fact and it's just not the same as it was before.

DC is never going to capture the same storytelling lightning ever again, no matter how many times they return to the Watchmen well.

Very end of Action Comics.

And I mentioned in continuity because he had the brief, absolutely touching appearance in Injustice.

The Watchmen have been in the DC universe for a long time already.  Captain Atom, The Question, Blue Beetle, etc...

The kind of storytelling where a super genius actually believes that creating a giant extra dimensional psychic vagina monster is the right idea to unite humanity? Rorschach and Doc Manhattan were good characters, the Comedian was decent. The rest were pretty shiat and the movie ending was better.

/yes I realize that makes me "That" guy this time around.

While reading Watchmen changed everything for me, I can't imagine it has nearly the resonance for anyone that grew up after the Cold War ended.

Also, everyone copied and deconstructed everything about Superheroes so it's like trying to date similar looking women to that old flame that you pick up at bowling alleys or truck stops.
