Judging from laws disallowing a maximum amount of thc, I'm gonna guess it'll be CBD heavy (hopefully?) hemp plants and tinctures.

An "upscale supper club"?

Catch 22: the amount of THC required to make Chicago "pizza" edible would probably render one unconscious.

They wouldn't have to be like that if they were given their rights. You sound like Billy Bob Bama circa 1961 complaining about how tedious it is hearing about negros constantly complaining about voting rights and segregation.

I don't know how not being allowed to smoke pot compares to not being considered 100% human. I mean, I don't care if you smoke pot and think the laws surrounding it are kind of stupid, but... segregation? Really?

Actually, I don't. But I do weaving and some papermaking. Good hemp yarns (not the usual substandard grade of binder  twine)are hard to find but a joy to weave. I figure industrial hemp, which is what I really want, will only come in on pot's coat-tails.

I can literally empath it right now, just how much you hated the analogies section of the SAT test.

No one is comparing the injustice of marijuana criminalization with the injustice of segregation. What is being compared is how any denial of rights....big or small....could warp someone's conversation to being tedious to someone indifferent or even wanting the injustice to perpetuate.

Actually, it can and has been demonstrated that the best treatment for depression is exercise.

/Getting a depressed person up and hitting the treadmill is no easy task. Trust me, I've been battling it for almost 20yrs. But it is better than any drug.
// but going out for a run or doing a couple dozen push-ups, etc. doesn't get the millions who suffer on a steady diet of highly profitable meds or a special strain of weed.

I'm old fashioned, I guess, in that I'd rather get high (by smoking) and then eat grimace proportions of real food.

Have you tried the edibles? If the taste isnt drastically different, why not?
Honestly I'd rather not draw chemicals into my lungs, it seems far more risky. If consuming cannabis in other ways offers the same effects, I'd much rather do so in those other ways than smoke it.

Thing is, you're both right. It's just that exercise is so much more fun when you're high. And you definitely still get a good workout, and the associated buzz from vigorous activity. Afterwards, you get even higher than usual, almost like a good wake and bake. Nothing says you have to stay on the couch, high or not.

I confess that I haven't tried them. And I'm sure they taste great and everything, but it's just the order of consumption that comes across as off for me.

My preferred sequence:

Step 1 : Consume MJ
Step 2 : Do something engaging for a few hours
Step 3 : Eat really really well

/ don't think I'm all bent out of shape over this though
