I saw a German tourist in Costa Rica crush an endangered butterfly with his fat ass while trying to take a picture of another endangered butterfly. The locals started whipping him with a switch until he fled. It was glorious. They wouldn't let me lick the insanity frogs, though.

His brand has been synonymous with ridiculous, gaudy junk for a very long time (since at least the 80's).
His brand has been bankrupt multiple times.
Pretty sure he doesn't care about making "us" look bad.

We only dropped 3 positions.  The rest of Europe and most of the countries in the UN hate the US.  This is not new.

as an American in Portugal, it's always been interesting to hear what other countries think about each other.  Germans are notorious travelers, so they probably are the most "wordly", and they're pretty much carrying the EU, so there's that.  Surprising to me though, is that despite all the current USA nonsense, America is still highly regarded and mentioned as a destination most EU locals would like to visit or move.

/ and yes everyone still hates the French and the Dutch,  but i think the Dutch thing is jealousy.

I love just how un-self aware that whole bit of propaganda is.  "The Americans are all rascist members of the Ku Klux Klan and they'll bomb you with impunity before they lynch you!...but they're also full of ni*BONG*s and totally under the control of the Jews.  Signed, Herman Goering and Joseph Goebbels."

Once, all the Germans were warlike and mean, but that couldn't happen again.
We taught them a lesson in 1918, and they've hardly bothered us since then!

During my trip last month, the only person who talked shiat about America was a young German guy at my table during Oktoberfest.  More specifically, he mentioned how American beer sucks.  I told him he was right when it came to the "big boy" breweries, but there are so many craft breweries who are making some awesome beers.

What I am trying to say is that the stereotype that American beer sucks needs to go away, gosh darn it!

That statement sounds very much like the "very fine people" statement of el Trumpo. Just replace not all Nazis are bad, with not all American beers are bad

1) Saying all American beers are bad is ridiculous.
2) The Czech Republic makes better beer than Germany.

"American" beers like Budweiser, Miller, Coors are now owned by giant international brewers who have done bugger all to improve them.
It's difficult to travel to any region of the States that does not offer at least a handful of very well brewed local beers.
