Poor Wisconsin.  Can't get a 5 o'clock anywhere, can it?  Hang in there Cheesies.  Your time will come.

Interesting that the ACC Championship Game could very likely match up two higher ranked teams than the BCS Championship game...

It's hard to shed a tear for Wisconsin when also-undefeated UCF's strength of schedule is not too much worse than theirs, and UCF is stuck all the way down in 14th behind a bunch of two-loss teams.  Not that UCF should be in the playoffs, but it's hard to justify two pretty similar teams being ranked at 5th and 14th because one is Power 5 and the other isn't.

The ACC divisions were originally set up on the thought of having a Florida State-Miami championship game.  This will be the first time Miami gets into the ACCCG, and in a year where FSU absolutely imploded.

alabama and clemson should both be dropped 10 spots for scheduling the schools they play this weekend.

looks like auburn also followed the same suit.

My man.

The BCS hasn't existed in four years.

Georgia should not be ranked in the Top 25 best teams.

Could you imagine if they actually had a decent QB?  I was pulling my hair out Saturday.  Surprised my tv made it through the entire game.

An unranked team dropped 50 plus on Ohio State two weeks ago and they are a top 10 team?

Calm down, championship games will sort this out

Acc is Clemson vs Miami - winner gets a spot

Big10 is Wisconsin vs Ohio state - Winner gets its spot

Big 12 is Oklahoma, don't think they have a championship game

Sec is interesting, if auburn beats Alabama then they play Georgia again for a spot. Alabama has go beat auburn and georgia . Georgia has to pray auburn doesn't win out.

Alabama went OOC to play Florida State while Auburn and Clemson each went OOC to play one another.

Take a look at when the three teams you mentioned got their previous conference and OOC games in and you'll see why all of them are doing an OOC game now. After that, take a look at who each of those teams plays in two weeks and you'll see why their respective schedules are what they are.

If my memory serves correctly. Alabama and Auburn have an agreement that neither can take their bye week before the iron bowl. Hence the cupcake game the week before for both teams.

It'll sort itself out.

If Wisconsin wins out they are in.  Lose once and their done.  I'm fine with that.

Think again. This year is the first one that they've had since they went to 10 teams.

And OU likely faces TCU. Again. And the Frogs are pretty damn good.

They are but their starting running back is out for the rest of the season. That's bad news when you have to outscore an offense like Oklahoma's.

As a rabid Wisconsin fan, I'm not bothered. If we win out, we'll be in.
But, they still have several tough games left. And have played a weak schedule. And an offense that is severely lacking. The defense is only going to take them so far. I'm just being realistic, but I don't really see them going undefeated. I hope they do though!!!!

I agree.  I wouldn't mind seeing them run the table and then win the Rose Bowl to go undefeated.  However, it is laughable that Ohio State probably will get into the playoffs if they beat Wisconsin.  Realistically a 10-2 Ohio State is probably more of a lock than a 12-0 Wisconsin team.  Iowa's beat down should have ended ANY playoff chances they have, but like Notre Dame their name is worth a couple spots in the rankings.

But Hornibrook helps our brewing industry. Sure had me drinking more than usual. Almost makes me wish Stave was back.

I'm really hoping ND ends up the season well out of reach of the main bowls.  They absolutely don't belong.  Plus that way they might have a shot at actually WINNING a bowl game.  Every time they get within sniffing distance of a major bowl they get absolutely shiatcanned by a real team.
