I thought it was pretty good. He sold it well by letting his face grind across the turf.

Though perhaps he was just suffering from some neurological problem.. see thread below.

It's called unnecessary roughness and is supposed to be flagged, but that only counts if you're wearing a Pats jersey.

Refs sucked last night.

Does the NFL have an embellishment penalty like the NHL?

Did the refs suck the previous 4 games too? Did they suck when Philly hung 51 on them?

True. There was a blatant non-call for pass interference on Denver when they were holding Cook's arm.

It was just performance art of his career.

Bashing his head into the turf has the side benefit of helping him forget such a godawful game.

This is the gold standard (sadly by a player from my team), to be fair when they came home for the next match our fans gave him hell every time he touched the ball in the next game.

Not a Donkey fan, thanks. I'm someone who watches sports and notices the exaggerated affect refs have on momentum and the final score. It's just like the NBA--refs ignore travelling, carrying, fouls, etc., and the game somehow, MIRACULOUSLY, ends up a 1 point game?

At one time, Elway was looking to trade for Kaep.  The fact he hasn't signed him is probably more indicative of the politics of the situation than a lot of people know.  And not just NFL politics.

You didn't watch the game if you think that was well-officiated.  At one point a Denver player caught the ball with "possession", took several steps and was hit, and the ball came out when he hit the ground, and it was ruled incomplete.  Mind you, replays showed he clearly held on to the ball, it didn't shift in his grip a single bit, and he took more than 2 steps before the ground caused the ball to come loose.  Then, later in the game, an Eagles player caught the ball in the endzone along the sideline, bobbled it all over the place, gained control while he was out of bounds, and it was ruled a touchdown.

There is no consistency with officiating in the NFL.  That is why I had been boycotting the league for the last several years, but I have recently ended my boycott because I don't want to be lumped in with all the Trump-ettes who are boycotting because they don't understand why several players are protesting.  The NFL is a garbage product, but it has become a part of our culture, so there is no incentive for them to improve.

Clearly the Eagles player should have been flagged for being in the wrong stadium and game.

It's obviously a goal celebration. The players are on the same team.
