Fark Felger.

2017-11-09 06:23:21 PM
As much as an asshat as he is, at least he'll talk hockey on the show, much more than most chuckleheads.

So,not sorry, but sorry you were offended but what I said? Got it.

And I thought Dennis and Callahan were the only Boston sports radio douchebag hacks.

Ah, Boston sports radio.  For when RW talk just doesn't have enough dbaggery for you.

I don't know who Michael Felger is. The headline seems to suggest I should but he seems like a local douche.

I was thrilled when an alternative to WEEI hit the airwaves. At first Hub was pretty good.  But then it ended up in the same "morass of negativity" as any other radio program.  I stopped listening to sports radio completely. It's loud aggravating nonsense most of the time. I feel my stress levels rise while listening.

Heard a couple of mins of this on Toronto Sprots radio this afternoon. I kinda get the "Consider your family, Dad. Thing."
But...
Doc was an aspirational Dad. He was a rockstar Dad by any measure. His family was always first. After his Philly's playoff no hitter, with the team celebrating all around, he was re-assuring his boy who's birthday was the next day that yes they were going to paintball and chuck-e-cheese the next day, that nothing was more important. There are a ton more stories...
Masshole was outta line. Also, water is wet. He's sorry we're all offended, but not really sorry he said it... Hot [garbage] takes are good for ratings, hate listeners are still listeners. Nothing. Else. Matters. Right?

He took calls for the entire 4 hours today, both positive and negative, that was the entire program.  Get over it people, he screwed up.  Oh and he was absolutely correct too, maybe he could have been a bit less trolley but still

This. There is no redeeming value to any of Boston sports radio or pretty much any Boston sports talking head for that matter. None of them seem to ever enjoy watching sports.

"He got what he deserved"

If you want the worst of both worlds, you listen to WEEI.

Well, when you are in a market where the sport matters, yes.

It's not a huge stretch to think that during the Bruins resurgence in the 2009-2013 time period, the Sports Hub's popularity rose because they would talk about the Bruins, unlike WEEI.

So, yeah.

He is pretty much an Aaron Rodgers fan. The only Boston team he seems to actually like is the Bruins.

/He was the only one willing to die on the "Fire Claude" hill other than myself.
//He is a total toolbox, not going to argue that fact

I meant his original point about Roy flying like a nutjob, not the rest of the nonsense.  Forgot this is fark and you have to be 1 million percent specific.

Actually, Felger is the first one I thought of.  Shaughnessey wouldn't have done it.  Halladay was white.  Not sure which other Boston sportsdouche subby might have been referring to.  There are so many to choose from.

Yes, in between the constant breaks, Fred getting jerked off about something and that ridiculous Meriweather segment every Wednesday, they do some funny stuff.

I actually find that when they're talking sports, is when they seem bored

Right wingers in Boston? You mean, like both of them?

Fark that, particularly the 100% bullshiat "yeah, that's the ticket!" part where "he got what he deserved" didn't refer to Halladay. Lying liar.

2017-11-10 06:01:35 PM
Meh....I wouldn't go so far as to say he deserved to die but after watching the video I certainly don't have any sympathy for Halladay.

Sucks for his kids that their father, a 40 year old grown ass man, acted a like a complete fool when he should have known better and died because of it.

Not being right wing talk radio masked as sports talk helped a bit too.
