Well, duh.  Our world has been crumbling ever since one of "those people" moved onto the block.

I feel a poem coming on...

The USA is in a bind

because Trump voters will never change their mind

.

"Would you vote for Trump if he killed and ate a baby"

The answer is a clear and concise "maybe"

.

"How about if it turned out he was a traitor"

"Then, my love for him would be even greater"

.

Sure, these people are prize pigeons

but, they are on the ground floor of a new religion

.

Look, if making America white again isn't the key to making America great again, then they really don't want to know.

The ones who voted Trump because he has an R after his name might be. Not likely, but possible. The ones who got conned into believing him, maybe.

The ones who voted for Trump because they believed in him. There is no hope for them.

Liberal voters will always cling to their fantasy of taxing their way to easy fixes.  Conservative voters understand there are no easy fixes, and getting America back on track is going to take time and a lot of sacrifice and effort.

2017-11-09 08:23:21 AM
Stop worrying about these people. Trump is never going to get to 0% support. Stop treating the fact that his supporters still support him like it matters.

Two things Trump has never shown any evidence of.

Watching the blind devotion to Trump is both scary and pathetically funny to watch at the same time.

I care about the non-voters.

The Bush administration should have proved to the apathetic and the apolitical that opting out of the process had negative consequences, that the whole Gush vs Bore, evil of two lessers argument was dangerous bunk, that monitoring Kardashian family developments and the like should be put aside occasionally for skimming the world and national headlines.

It did not. Or the lesson was forgotten.

They've learned nothing because the left has clutched it's pearls and thrown themselves in front of the bullet they shot at their foot. Like they always do. Here's a thought - instead of blubbering THINK OF THE CHILDREN!, next time the trumptards vote to eliminate their own healthcare LET IT HAPPEN. Next time they want to pass a law allowing corporations to poison the water supply of Pig Fark, Arkansas - let them do it. That would certainly wipe the smug grins off their faces. They vote for people like Trump and Ryan because they know they can play liberals for fools.

My mom voted for Trump and would still do so...  Here are some of the mental gymnastics she performed when I talked to her last weekend...

Remember that chemical plant that blew up during Hurricane Harvey? She believes this is a terrible thing that should have been prevented, but EPA laws are too strict.

My step-dad works for one of their competitors and has had to pick up the slack.  He has worked 21 straight 10 hour days and this is expected to continue through the end of the year. He was told that if he didn't like it, he could quit. She told me it was a good thing they didn't have a union or things would be worse.

Bush was not like Trump.

Sure he started a war that killed millions, but he wisely played the average American like a pied piper.

If 9/11 happened today Trump would lash out violently, but he wouldn't have the support of the people.

Yes, Dubya eventually lost our support. Donald Trump was never even given the benefit of the doubt within a month of his election.

Nah.

Fight it.  But don't clutch at pearls when we fail.  Make it clear what we would do.  Give them a candidate in every election we can.

And then when they ignore us, again, and vote to poison themselves, predict the obvious future and move on.

Keep running that guy, let him take up that fight, but dont go out of our way to protect them from their own choices after they've made them.

Weve gotta worry about protecting everyone else from their choices and everyone else might actually guve a shiat about what we have to say when they watch kansas turn into one giant tire fire peppered with the ruined steeples of small town churches and nothing else.

So, let's hurry and get more free opioids  to those voters ASAP. Before we can get rid of Trump, Darwin needs to go on a listening tour of white trash instead of lazy journalists.

Whether or not Trump voters would vote for him again is the wrong question.  The difficult question to answer is what percentage of Trump voters will vote again.  That's always the difficult polling question, but especially for someone like Trump who pulled so much support from unlikely voters in the rural Midwest.

Trump has lost about 1 in 10 of his voters. And when I say lost I mean they quit supporting him, went out and voted, and voted overwhelmingly Democratic.

So keep up the good work, Donald.  You're helping make America great again.

Now let's make sure they never have any power in this country again.
