If you look at all the other companies version of cheeseburger (and it's more than those 3), it certainly looks like everyone was trying to make theirs different. I can only imagine that is to avoid a billion dollar copyright infringement suit of stealing someone else's cheeseburger emoji. They probably have patents on them as well with the novelty such as lettuce under the meat!

If all I have to do to piss people off is have the cheese beneath the patty then I've been working way too hard for a long time now.

You know what pisses me off is the idiots who squash the burger after they make it. They are operating on habit and don't think about what they're doing. It's more of a problem with wrapped sandwiches than boxed. Don't squash the farking burgers, moron. If the customer wants it squashed, he'll squash it himself.

This seems to be the biggest non-story pseudo-scandal in a while.

I guess the media needs some made up "scandals" since they can't get angry about a President using dijon mustard or eating arugula or something.

OMG WHO THE HELL CARES!

I realize that a picture is worth 1,000 words.  But do we really need millions of emoji?  Truth be told, composing tweets entirely of emoji makes your message that much more difficult to read.

McDonald's does - many pictures of a Big Mac show cheese on the bottom. You might not like their burgers but you have to admit they know a bit about making them.

The bigger problem was their beer emoji with the head floating above an IPA... Invisible Pale Ale.

All of them are WRONG. The Apple and Microsoft one put a cold tomato on top of warm cheese. The Android one needs the cold at the bottom and the hot on the top. The cheese at  the bottom would act as a barrier for the meat juice, causing it to spill everywhere

Clockwork Kumquat: END OF DISCUSSION

See, this is not one of those personal preference, agree-to-disagree things; Bob has assembled his burger that way for inarguable, practical reasons. The patty is the one hot component in that assembly, so the cheese has to be in direct contact with it, so that it melts most effectively. The cheese goes on top of the patty rather than beneath it, so that as it melts, it runs and drips around the edge of the patty and is stopped by the bun, rather than running out over the edge of the bun, as we clearly see happening in Twilight Farkle's image immediately following. Drjekel_mrhyde is also wise in the ways of burgers; cheese on the bottom adds a juice-resistant coating to the underbun, impairing its essential absorptive function. The lettuce goes on top of the cheese to help insulate it from the cooling influence of the tomato and whatever condiments might be up there. Bob knows what he's doing. Bob would never put together a burger, if indeed one can rightly call such a thing a burger, like the ones in that other picture. I'm guessing Jimmy Pesto made those burgers. Jimmy Pesto should stick to doing pizza.
