Now I have to bench Alfred Morris again :(

Dear Cowboys. If you could keep delaying the suspension until the playoffs, and then flame out because you don't have an RB, that would be very funny. Please do that.

Suspension will start week 15 of this season.  Cowboys will lose last 3 and miss playoffs by 1 game.

Then start 0-3 next year.

I believe we can safely start referring to this as Zekeghazi.

Jiro Dreams Of McRibs: So Ezekiel, yes. Colin, no.

Honestly, the two things are pretty unrelated. Colin is being blackballed by the teams for "being a distraction," I guess. I think the only team who could pick him up & quash the rhetoric is the Patriots, but I really don't see that happening. He is facing off with teams' front offices.

Ezekiel is facing off with the league & the legal system over accusations that were not pursued by police, and which are very suspect because of communications from the accuser implying blackmail. Add on top of that the mishandling of the investigation by the league, you've got yourself a mess. Because NOW if you say, "OK we messed up, no suspension," you get people saying you LOOOOOOOVE domestic violence. I really hate that. It prevents any discussion from happening. You can hope for fairness without endorsing domestic violence. It's not a binary thing.

So if this thing keeps getting pushed back would it suspend him through the postseason? After this weekend they only have 8 games left.

Di Atribe: Add on top of that the mishandling of the investigation by the league

I have to go run errands, but I wanted to clarify this point. The only league investigator (a woman), who interviewed Zeke's ex, was not included in the meeting where punishment was decided. She said she would not have recommended suspension. To me, that speaks to a disinterest in doing the right thing & a high interest in sending a message.

That being said, I don't see this suspension going away & I wish he'd serve it and get it over with. If he'd done it at the beginning of the season, he'd be back by now.

"Three thirty-three is our time. Thirty-three minutes past 3PM Central Standard time according to the tower of the friendly mercantile. The tuner is on America's favorite radio station, Sportsradio 1310, The Ticket.
Warmest greetings, Tickheads and Ticketchicks, it is Friday, the 3rd of November.

Time to heed to, trice up, mill about smartly throughout the premises making certain every radio in sight is set to America's favorite station for music and news and in doing whatever you must to ensure that this remains the case in perpetuity.

This is Mike Rhyner, speaking to you today from the nurturing biosphere of the mothership, alongside the The Knox City knocker, the Terlingua comic, Dingu.

Ty Walker, the great beast in his natural habitat and the dancing bear at first base getting things ready to roll with that Ticket Ticker this afternoon.

At the helm, guiding us out to sea, sober with his hands on the wheel, the young gunslinger, David Mino.

Becca will be along in just a bit with traffico, traffico, and I will be here, but right about now it is time for us to bring in the Cobra."

Well you see, Mike, college football is better because of teams like SMU who have the ability to just not care.  Not one bit.

"Hey Snake...guess what?

My pig found itself smart enough to hop over in the barrier from his pen to the next pen and eat all of that pig's food, and then go to the next one and eat all of that pig's, food and then the next one and eat all of that pig's food, and make his way back in time for when it was time to feed him and he had already eaten three meals and would just be sitting there waiting for me and I would feed him and he would eat that. That's why he gained so much weight and got sifted at the fat stock show. "

Yes, this. If we learned anything from the Brady Saga, it's that under the current CBA, the NFL can pretty much punish anyone they want to whatever extent they want for whatever reason they want.

The NFLPA done effed up last time they went to the bargaining table. Expect a strike and/or lockout in a couple of years.

As agreed to the players reps in exchange for, I think they got a parking spot closer to the main entrance of the building that they were meeting the owners. Every Tuesday, Thursday and alternate Wednesdays.

/in reality I think it was for less off-season full contact OTAs

He won't miss a single game this season.  Next season be sure to draft his backup in fantasy because that's when he'll sit the 6

I'm not so sure about him actually missing the games.  They are asking the court to decide.

There is still a big difference between him and Brady.  Brady's accusation occurred on the field of play which would give nfl jurisdiction. Elliot's did not,   I understand they whole policy out side of work. This one cant be proven and sorta has been unproven.  I hope the court gets tired of the Nfl wasting their time in general,

Remind me again, how did Vilma beat it?  Was it because that was prior to the new CBA?

What's funny is Goodell is gonna get fired for what he did with Ezekiel (pissing Jerry Jones off) and it's gonna get blamed on Kaepernick.

Zeke already had a job and is entitled to an appeal of his discipline.  Kaepernick isn't in the NFL and is trying to sue his way back in.  One has nothing to do with the other.
