What they fail to mention in the article is the Mega-Ultra-Super-Orbital-Space Laser in the sattelite so that they no longer have to send out whaling ships.

On behalf of all Americans, I protest this invasion of our privacy.

Because, you know, all Americans are big, fat morbidly obese whales, right?

You have to be able to track them if you're gonna use the orbital laser cannon.

"The fisheries agency of Japan is hell-bent on resuming full-blown commercial whaling," says Richard Page of Greenpeace. "If this satellite tracking technique is used to help whalers, what hope have the whales got?"

"Herro, this Japanese Onstar."

"Yeah, this is Simon P. Lankton calling. I've got a bunch of stinking hippies following me and my migrating family in a rainbow-colored rubber powerboat."

"Hai, Mr. Prankton. Arming Saterrite missles. Crear the area!"
