And that is just in 8 months from a Secretary.  How much have we paid for 45*?

Tom "name your" Price, ladies and gentlemen.

2017-09-28 05:42:18 PM
He's going to pay back like, I dunno, $50K of it.

Isn't that enough for you rabble-rousing goons?

He's just a poor, insider-trading*, doctor and civil servant*.

*alleged.

He will pay back just what he calculates his weight added to the fuel requirements for the aircraft. Something like $100 and change.

He will re-imburse for his seat.  But the rest of his entourage will still be on the taxpayer dime.

Exactly. That check needs to be bigger.  Does he want us to believe that his staff would have gone on the private plane if not for him????

Good thing he didn't get a hair cut, we'd never hear the end of it.

Ethics and Tom Price, HHS Secretary are two things that don't mix well together.  Now, he got caught abusing his authority to charter flights for himself and traveling companions so that there would be no possibility of this grifter rubbing shoulders with anyone who might ask an inconvenient question of him.  A little over a half year ago, there was the problematic history of his day trading -- https://extapps2.oge.gov/201/Presiden.nsf/PAS+Index/5F3E366991E3A14A852580F40026F916/$FILE/Thomas-E-Price-03.10.2017-278T.pdf.  If Joe Q. Citizen, federal civil servant got himself entangled in ethics violations such as these, the price would be his job along with criminal prosecution.  But, for Price, the cost is apparently a little bad press until such time as the next Trump appointee gets their dick caught in a wringer.

""Today, I will write a personal check to the US Treasury for the expenses of my travel on private charter planes. The taxpayers won't pay a dime for my seat on those planes."

The expense for his seat on those planes comes out to $51,887.31, according to an HHS spokesperson.

Politico has reported that the total cost of the private jets Price flew on was more than $400,000 and included trips to places where he has friends and family. Price is not covering the cost for support staff and others who flew with him on those charter planes, staff who otherwise would have flown commercial."

Pay it all back, all that you had the government waste on you and your staff, you jackhole.

Trump's top economic adviser, Gary Cohn, the former president of Goldman Sachs Group Inc., said at a press conference Thursday that he stayed in the administration despite his anger over its reaction to neo-Nazis because of the chance to rewrite the tax code. "I would never miss this," he said.

Between rent at Trump Tower and Mar A Lago, the Secret Service had to ask for more money to get through the fiscal year. And Two Scoops pocketed most of that.

The thing is, isn't Price also a millionaire?

If that's the case, it definitely doesn't surprise me.  Most of the people I've met that have been well off are more than willing to try and find ways of not having to pay for a damn thing.  So Price farking over the taxpayers makes a lot of sense.

You forget who is running the show right now.  Unless the Democrats somehow win big next year, it's only going to get worse.  Much worse.
