Especially when facing a long sentencing.

Who farking cares!
This guy wasn't exactly scarface, and it's only his private stash...

Seriously, just farkling legalize it and this silly sheit will end. Some people will grow their own, some will buy it. People won't be hauling it around anymore than cigarettes to avoid taxes, and the for profit prisons won't have as many inmates.
Wait, I think I see the problem...

OK, so make the travesties of humanity that for profit prisons are, illegal, and flippity flop, problem solved!
Seriously, no one should ever profit on a persons incarceration; it is the duty city, state or federal system that tried and sentenced them.

Is it illegal to transport it in a rent-a-haul or something? Other than it being funny that he said it's just a little and he can throw it out, this should be a non story in Colorado, no?

Umm, no it wasn't FTFA:
Hoang and his 49-year-old passenger, Larry Tran of Rosemead, California, gave deputies different stories about how they knew each other.

Yeah, transporting 3100 lbs across the country with someone you don't even know is clearly just hauling along your own personal stash. Jesus, come on man. While I don't agree with it being illegal, I'm also not blind to the fact that it's illegal to transport for farking distribution across the country, using mules.

I've been trying to figure that out. You can buy up to an ounce at a time, and you can grow x number of plants. What if my wife and I grow the max number of plants and keep hoarding it? What's the possession limit? Or are we treating it like booze or tobacco and there's no limit?

Speaking if the hauling cigarettes around, have you seen the video of the semi truck in which the entire trailer was lined with cartons? Really unique and ingenious, very very illegal.

I'm totally okay with the problem being a Dodging the tax stamp issue like it is with tobacco. Pay into the system, dude.

This guy in the truck is likely gang affiliated. The thing about that kind of gang is that they are probably also into human trafficking. Get him to roll over on his cohorts and you might save some young folks from being exploited in the worst way.

Damn! No I hadn't seen that, thanks for the link.
Doesn't surprise me, but it does show me how inefficient those agents are. Just throwing everything on the ground, then someone has to pick it all up and bag it. Why not put it in bags when you first take them out and not handle them twice?
They obviously have never worked in manufacturing...

Well, if you read the article you see that the police themselves are already estimating they'll end up with 700 pounds.

Slow rollin in my car, lookin for my drop off.
But like that famous rapper said, I just can't get my rocks off.
The deals are all around, but none of them wanna buy off me
My dope is dank, my street-cred's bank, so what's up with H-O-A-N-G?
The reefers be all jockin' down at the end of the street
Buyin' pot off some skel named Scott, don't they know that i'm on fleek?
So I pulled up and strolled over to this dude, he said "my shiat's Nirvana"
I asked the guy "Why you so fly?" He said "Skunky Marijuana"

<Skunky Marijuana>

Went up to this girl,  she said "Hi, my name is Donna."
I thought she'd be good to go with some skunky marijuana.
She said "I'd like a spliff", i said "No problem, I just roll it"
A couple of hits, she licked her lips, and I knew that she was with it.
I took her to my car, and everything was on the hop.
But when she got undressed, it was a big old mess, cuz Donna was a COP!
I tried to bail, I don't fool around with no 5-0 on the cornah
You must be sho' , she ain't the law, for the skunky marijuana.

Skunky marijuana.

You know, ain't no plans in the lockup.
This is the 10's, and I'm down with the free enterprise, ya know?

Break it down.

Clicks yo. Gotta get the clicks, it's what drives blogs.
Seriously, read this book...

Everything will make a lot more sense afterwards.
Though you will realize your emotions have been played by the media to drive you to click the link, and you've essentially been used like a 2 dollar whore for your outrage. That could be difficult for a lot of people to deal with.
