FTFA: President Trump's former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said this week that, if anyone on Trump's campaign colluded with Russian officials during the 2016 election, they should "go to jail for the rest of their lives."

So, everyone from POTUS down to his golfball polisher?

"I think if anybody, and I've said this, if Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, or Rick Gates or Carter Page, or anybody else attempted to influence the outcome of the U.S. election through any means that's inappropriate - through collusion, coordination or cooperation - I hope they go to jail for the rest of their lives," Lewandowski said at George Washington University on Tuesday, according to the Washington Examiner.

hmmmm, sounds like something big is about to hit. Maybe pissing off the one guy getting squeezed by Mueller harder than my mom's lovers and who knows where the bodies are buried may not be the best course of action here.

though I can wait to see the mental gymnastics when the pardon drops and the justification for it.

It's like Law & Order, put the suspects in separate interrogation rooms and watch which one rolls over first to get the best deal.

Won't be enough to shelter the Trump.
Which is a good thing.

In times like these we need the GOP. But it is dead and some zombie hive of scum and villainy has taken it's place. These turds are not Republicans in any sense of the phrase.

It's morbidly fascinating - will Mueller manage to indict enough folks to get Trump out of office before Trump kicks off a race war here at home or a nuclear war abroad to retain power as a "wartime president?"

Paul Manafort may be "patient zero" in the Russian infection, but he's hardly the only one who's going to go down for this.

Not to nitpick, but he isn't a scapegoat if he's actually in it up to his neck, which he seems to be.

I think subby was looking for the term "fall guy" not "scapegoat" but it's close enough.  They're all dirty as fark but if they can pin it all on Manafort to save their asses they will.  But they can't because most, if not all, of them worked for or with Manafort when he was the campaign manager for Trump.

The great news here is that Mueller's tactics are working.

It's going to be glorious.

Liberals again fail to notice nuance. Note that Lewandowski said that Manafort should go to jail if he colluded with Russians. Because absolutely no one on the Trump campaign ever colluded with Russians, ever spoke with Russians or even ever heard of Russia, obviously no one is going to jail.

"President Trump's former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said this week that, if anyone on Trump's campaign colluded with Russian officials during the 2016 election, they should "go to jail for the rest of their lives."

See, everyone always says conservatives and libs can't ever find common ground, but this clearly disproves that. I'm all for anyone that colluded going to prison, I dunno about life, exactly...but a good looooong time at the least. Difficulty: The deal includes Cheetolini and his progeny and best buds there in his administration.

2017-09-21 09:29:22 AM
Manafort?  Never heard of him.  Never done business with him, never met him, had nothing whatsoever to do with him.

But those wiretap warrants with his name on them, the ones that ended before my campaign started and started back up after he no longer had anything to do with me?  Those were totally targeted at me.

But I thought collusion wasn't a problem because it's not illegal?

Man, he's going to really regret that "anyone who colluded with Russia should go to jail" once his name starts popping up in evidence.

fark collusion, Manafort is a straight-up traitor. But, I don't give two shiats about him. I want the big guy. Give him immunity for all I care, just get him to point the finger at Trump.

The White House staff comes to the "aid" of Manafort. This will become a common sight:

Seems like an odd thing to suggest at the very moment that the Feds are putting the squeeze on Manafort to spill his guts. If Manafort feels he's being thrown under the bus by Trump and friends, what other option does he have?

No.  No immunity for Manafort or Flynn.  Manafort because he's engaged in straight-up genocide.  Flynn because his "lock her up!" speech shows how deeply he cares about the rule of law and that lawbreakers should be punished as harshly as possible.

Was he whistling innocently? Did he accompany his statement with a long, loud, nervous laugh, that rose to a shrill high pitch, and then ended with a gurgle? Did he pull out an oversize handkerchief and mop his brow? Did he keep glancing at his watch? Did he keep taking sips of water?
