Christ almighty, he literally will say whatever the last person in the room with him wants him to say. Has there ever been a weaker president in our history?

2017-09-14 07:34:27 AM
Would someone please take his magic 8 ball away?  He's all over the farking place.  He doesn't want to be the "bad guy" and deport a shiat ton of productive Dreamers, but he doesn't want to lose his well cultivated xenophobic base who want to chuck out all the brown people.

He is just spinning his wheels and not going anywhere.

Meds wore off.

I'm guessing Stephen Miller either got to him or he read Breitbart or something.

2017-09-14 07:39:50 AM
It's almost as if Republican President Donald Trump is... untrustworthy.

2017-09-14 07:39:53 AM
What do you expect from a sociopath?

2017-09-14 07:40:45 AM
So either Obama praised the DACA deal, or the last person he spoke to told him no.

2017-09-14 07:40:49 AM
How was he going to deliver the deal in the first place? He's completely disconnected from the GOP Congress.

Have we found the chaotic neutral switch? I'll take this over chaotic evil.

2017-09-14 07:41:02 AM
He doesn't remember what happened 5 minutes ago. Later today he'll be praising himself for the deal.

2017-09-14 07:41:17 AM
Nooooooo shiat.  Pelosi knows he's going to do an about face too, we all know he'll say yes to everyone but do whatever he wants.  This was all aimed at eroding his base by getting a chance to say he agreed to preserve DACA, and now the follow up will be to shame him for being a two faced moron (not that he can feel shame).

2017-09-14 07:41:18 AM
Will he be for it tomorrow?

And against on saturday?

And twirl, twirl towards it on sunday?

Quick, get one of Nancy's aides back to the West Wing to shake the Presidential 8-Ball again.

And there are people who wanted this man to be President; that's the part that still galls me...

2017-09-14 07:43:27 AM
Good. It would have been a stupid deal for the democrats. Trump took something away we already had and is demanding huge piles of money for a wall just to give it bAck. Fark that

2017-09-14 07:43:36 AM
No DACA deal?  No, it has to be voted on, and Trump is literally stepping back from his grandiose Wall to give him a sad 'win' as he officially stops caring about DACA.  The only thing he has gained from this is attention and that's because they're freaking out trying to rationalize this or simply realizing they've been had.

Trump has no idea what he's doing and the GOP is suffering for it.

We may literally be months away from the Republicans impeaching their own president.

2017-09-14 07:43:47 AM
As if there's any value in listening to what Trump says.

I think it would be great is Pelosi and Chuck walked out of that meeting and just blatantly lied about having a deal. It caused Republicans to freak out because they think Trump is now working with Dems and now it makes Trump look like he's going back on his word (I know, get the fainting couch). Either way, once again it makes Trump look like an idiot to pretty much everyone. So, good job guys?

Wasn't there an SNL skit that covered this about 6 months ago?

2017-09-14 07:47:25 AM
The last two weeks have been pretty good for Trump with Harvey and Irma sucking up the news.  But as soon as he gets the spotlight again, Trump shiats the bed.

lennavan: Good. It would have been a stupid deal for the democrats. Trump took something away we already had and is demanding huge piles of money for a wall just to give it bAck. Fark that

The idea here is to do one of two things: 1) Somehow convince Trump to harangue Congress into doing something that Republicans don't want to do because they know that Republican leadership is spineless as fark; or 2) Get rank-in-file Republicans so upset with Trump (somehow) that they are too busy trying to cut each other to really do anything egregiously horrible legislatively...

Honestly so long as Democrats keep relatively quiet, Trump will induce a lot of (2) by himself.

2017-09-14 07:48:16 AM
Flip flopper. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the plan all along and he was only getting hopes up just to twist the knife later.

I care a lot about group x. Do you want to help group x? Well I'm not going to do it unless you give me something else.

The above is how the GOP operates, and it is everything that is wrong in our government. They can't even do something they think is good, just to do some good.

2017-09-14 07:49:05 AM
Which means that there is a deal, and he wants credit for it.

Sorry kids,  but its time we put grandpa in a home. You can visit anytime you want as long as it's a weekend and mommy and daddy don't have better things to do. Just give him a big hug, not you suzie, he's in a grabby mood.

You say that like it's a bad thing.  That would signal - to me, at least - that the GOP is at least capable of doing what is best for the country when they must.

Trump has the attention span of a two year old; he wasn't following the conversation.  It was only after Bannon called him and told Trump what he agreed to that  any awareness set in.

I was wrong anyway. I thought it was an accidental decent thing but he seems to have reversed course immediately.

I meant as an alternative to the previous eight months, not as an alternative to a functioning government. I don't watch game of thrones so I may not have understood your reference.

Rank AND file.  Based on the old military technique of having soldiers line up for battle in neat rows (ranks) and columns (files).  Of course, you'll probably refudiate that as a meaningless antidote.

I demand that Trump tweets that he'll NEVER give me five, ten million ...

Meantime, still no flippin' TRUMP tag.
