This is the only positive impact of yard signs: giving candidates something to do so they stay out of the way while actual work gets done.

There are more restrictions on Juneau residents displaying yard signs than there are on candidates putting signs in residents' yards without permission.

Yeah, she hasn't met the hirelings and volunteers, its early yet.

Probably the same person who was using Ted Cruz's Twitter account to look at porn

How is putting signs on someone's private property a "gray area"?  I believe trespassing would cover this just fine. Could probably throw in littering for putting a sign there too.

It's always fun to fill a political candidate's sign full of pellet holes, maybe 5 a day. They start to look kinda ratty after a couple weeks...

I'd like to meet the some of the people who decide who to vote for based on yard signs that they see.  I have questions...

That's F-ed up. That mean you can get charged for taking down a sign put in your own yard with out your permission?

Since there's no law preventing it, people should put her opponents signs in Jones' yard night after night right up to the election.

I think it's to let passersby know the person who lives there supports the candidate, not the info on the sign.So a voter will hopefully be influenced by knowing who their neighbors support.
We had a railroad propose building a line through our county. LOTS of yard signs against this, so it was nice to know we weren't the only ones upset by this.

CSB: We spent an election night in Juneau on vacation once when our kids were elementary school age. There was a referendum on the ballot in Alaska that year (1998?) to change the capital of Alaska from Juneau to Anchorage. We were hoping the referendum won, so we could tell the boys could tell their friends back home they went to sleep in the capital but woke up not in the capital.
