Hasn't trump been caught stealing from his own 'charity' fund to pay for his various legal problems over the years?

its kind of difficult to explain how charity works when the President uses charity funds as a personal slush fund for hookers, blow and legal teams.

now focus up.  we KNOW trump sets up bogus charity organizations to steal funding.  that's fact.  you cannot make it go away.  would you care to comment on this and other related facts regarding trump's tendency to abuse the weak or did you want to keep trying to change the subject?

Is there an income level point after which rich people are simply completely unable to think at the dollar level ? I mean, I've heard the "every dollar we spend" idiom, but this phrasing is so... bizarre.

Trump doesn't care. Charities that don't make him look good and don't make him money don't matter to him, and neither do programs that help people. To him, he is the only person that matters in the USA and the world in general.

daphne: Trump doesn't think, that's Bill's first mistake

Bill's second mistake is to accept the idea that any proponent of tax cuts for the rich actually believes charities will take up the slack. They don't care if they do but need some sort of cover for their blatant greed.

If you're going to cut taxes, you have to cut taxes on the people that pay taxes. The rich pay the most. It's really hard to cut taxes on people that don't pay taxes.

Solid plan.  Skin in the game, why punish the JOB CREATORS who haven't created a job since 1956 before they put it in a trust for their great-great-grandkids

You will never be rich, friend, and they will never accept you.  Now go put on your uniform and be a big man today

It just said he picked the recipients, not that he sent the money. That said, I doubt that on Kelly's watch such a huge, stupid and damaging lie would come out as an official white house statement. Trump is probably shiatting blood that he actually has to pay up tho. They're probably sending a collection plate around the white house as we speak.

This is exactly how I assume it went down. People kept asking Hucky Bear if he had paid it and they realized it wasn't going to stop so why not just pay it and replace it with a million he grifts from us.

This is not a Trump thing, this is the R platform. The R platform is largely super simple:

If there is a federal program of any kind not listed in Article 1 Section 8 of the constitution it should be destroyed.

Government at all levels should not being doing anything for welfare and it should be 100% up to charities and churches.

They believe the states should work together for things like environmental issues, but somehow states needing to work together is not the 'federal government'.

I've heard 'Jesus said to help the poor, but He didn't say to use the government.  Helping should be strictly voluntary.'  My reply: ''So, you want help to the poor to be just for appearances, rather than effective.'
