He's the richest public figure in China. He's not the richest guy in China, not by a long shot. I don't care if you're giving him full credit for his stock, there are real mega-moguls in China that few people, not even in China, have ever heard about or understand their full wealth.

My understanding is that China's goal, according to Deng Xiaoping, is to be a great nation, whether communist or capitalist.

I think in the 80's, they started slowly making moves towards capitalism in certain areas of the country, like denationalizing some properties, and it kinda went from there.  I guess it's more of a corporatist socialist state, if that makes sense. Is corporatist a word?  Autocorrect says yes.

I believe the term is "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics"
