I wonder if slandering Comey in an attempt to discredit him will be thrown into Mueller's obstruction of justice pile.

People have already forgot about the Russia thing. There was a big storm and American Idol is coming up soon.

I really despise this woman.  either she knows what she's doing is objectively 'wrong' and unethical...and just doesn't give a damn.  Or she's so monumentally stupid that she says whatever she's told to say, and really doesn't understand she's working for institutional evil.  either way, she's offensive in what she says and does for a living.

Does it matter? I don't expect obstruction of justice will matter one whit. It requires someone to enforce a law and that's not gonna happen.

Doesn't matter. As money is the only true metric, her ethics, morals, and motives are almost irrelevant - if she's getting paid, she's successful. Tobacco executives, pharmaceutical salespeople, megachurch pastors - no one cares about the means any more, as long as the ends are gold-plated and swimming in lucre.

Scorpitron is reduced to a thin red paste: I don't expect obstruction of justice will matter one whit. It requires someone to enforce a law and that's not gonna happen.

And, this. When you know that Congress is just looking on like a smirking parent as the Trump kid beats up America on the front lawn, America knows it's screwed.

because THAT never ends badly for anyone....

I've actually been amazed at how quickly the country has come to distrust the office of president.  this huckabee woman isn't entirely responsible for that of course....that fault belongs to her boss.  But getting up every day and lying for a living seems to agree with her.  so either she's totes kewl with a life of deception, or she's too dumb to understand what she's saying.  both imply some pretty disgusting things about trump's communications with the 'little people'.  THAT's what bugs me about her.  she's working for scum and is ok with it.

I guess ultimately her reasons for serving evil really don't matter.  she's up there spewing lies and the only thing we can do is despise her for it.

I also don't think Trump's plan to discredit Comey is working out the way he'd planned.  if anything, trump's made Comey MORE believable than if he'd just STFU and let his legal team do the talking.

You have to understand.  This is triple level poker mixed with 4D chess that business genius, The Notorious W-I-G, is working on the swamp.  Please, you must be patient, his master plan is right on schedule.

They really ARE that farking dumb huh? Impressive really.

Try to interfere with the investigation which includes your own obstruction of justice by attacking the person you fired triggering a large chunk of the investigation in the first place. Genius!

"The president is proud of the decision that he made," Sanders said Tuesday. "The president was 100 percent right in firing James Comey. He knew at the time it could be bad for him politically, but he also knew and felt he had an obligation to do what was right."

Yes.  I too am interested in seeing James Comey's private communications offered up for scrutiny.  In particularly interested to know who was calling him during the Clinton Email investigation.  And I suspect this is Trump's real threat: if James Comey goes under the microscope it'll come out that he participated in a conspiracy to destroy Hillary Clinton's reputation at the behest of any number of high ranking Republican Congresspersons.

And that, my friends, would be an epic distraction.

We "feel" that he did something illegal...

Bullshiat, you don't prosecute "feelings". Charge him with something on the books, or fark right off.

Trumpers do, then get VERY pissed off when you tell them that they aren't allowed to go after people based on a 'feeling'.

the weird part is that most trumpers consider libruls to be the 'emo/feelings' type.  an irony that is not lost on the rest of us non trumper types.

We haven't seen the letter Trump and Miller wrote on why Trump was firing Comey before McGahn pulled it, but it sounds like the main reason he fired him is for not closing the Russia probe or at the very least not publicly clearing Trump of any wrongdoing so that Trump could get to work on his "Russia reset" (which, hey, Obama reset relations with Russia why can't he? It isn't like Russia has been a particularly bad actor in the last 8 years...)

Oddly enough, some liberals do not equate being upset at someone for an action they took, with a need to throw them in jail.  We leave that to people who have a knack for fascism.

"Sanders said the former FBI director 'politicized an investigation by signaling he would exonerate Hillary Clinton before he ever interviewed her or other key witnesses.'"

Did he make a statement before the end of the investigation? No.

"Sanders also said Comey, 'by his own admission, leaked privileged government information.'"

Hard to claim privilege now when the WH didn't claim it before Comey's testimony.

"On Monday, Sanders accused Comey of giving 'false testimony,' though she did not specify what testimony she was citing."

Uh huh.

I'm sure that Mueller and the FBI will back off the President now...what a bunch of dumbshiat amateurs.

so correct democrats wanted comeys head in Oct. 2016. That doesn't at all undue what Trump has done.

I am sure that every news organization has drafted an article on Trumps death. Does that mean they should all be charged with murder?

This entire line of argument is idiotic. So he expected that he was going to exonerate her. Make sense since having a private mail server was pretty common at the time and not a big deal. If anything serious came out of the interviews he'd adjust his position accordingly.

Now I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that "privileged information" has no explicit basis in law like classified information, and this you can't be prosecuted for "leaking" it.

Much like Trump's BS Obama wiretapping claim and any of the other numerous times that Trump or his administration have threatened legal action, absolutely nothing will come of this.

I'm fairly certain that Comey is extremely versed in rules relating to what is and what is not classified. So to this I say, do it you chicken farkers. File charges against Comey. Please please please don't be pussies about it. I dare you.
