Hah! Told ya so. No way was that asshole Clarke going to get a job in the White House, even Trump's.

I'm enjoying the fact that Clarke quit is ego-stroking LE job thinking he was going to get some position in Trumpy's Flaming Clown Circus of an Administration, and is now stuck on some unknown PAC.

Clarke ain't even worthy of the HA HA guy treatment.

"But on Tuesday, the controversial former Milwaukee County lawman signed on with an outside group instead. He will serve as a spokesman and "senior adviser" for the pro-Trump super PAC America First Action."

He resigned after that, so he knew he wasn't working in the White House. Still WITH the White House, so almost as bad. Now he can be involved with all that soft money. Yay drained swamp?

So far Kelly's doing a good job keeping the Russian stink out of the WH. Well, some of it.

I have to wonder, how long before Trump gets tired of Kelly telling him "NO"?

Kelly has already expressed his displeasure in how Trump talks to him in a demeaning manner. It's pretty much down to Kelly quits or Kelly is fired. Personally I hope it's the former.

I hate that a General of such conservative background is tired of Trump's shiat.  I would hate for him to get so fed up that he quits or that Trump gets so frustrated he fires Kelly.  I really hate everything about this scenario.

Kelly will quit when he realizes it doesn't matter who he denies or fires, he can't fire the main problem in the administration.

Can you imagine how much of a shiatshow the Trump admin would be without Kelly? Poochie, Gorka, and Bannon would still be there and Clarke and/or Arpaio would already have a position in his admin.

Kelly is holding that bandaid on the gaping chest wound, but it won't stay forever.

-Considering Trump doesn't like the impression of being told what to do, I expect Kelly will soon be on the outs with the White House.

At least he's landed a job...even if it happens to be in a lesser role, and he's being paid back for all the kind press that he's been able to give Donnie, and isn't THAT the most important lesson: it's not if you're a good person or have done a good job, it's that you've hung your reputation on backing a pony no matter how sh*tty it runs. Clarke is the sort that STAYS bought, and that is the one trait that Donnie value above all others.

That he's a vindictive ebbil c*ck? That doesn't matter, so long as he's loyal and can lend some "danger" to Donnie's organization. Donnie likes winners, and Clarke resigning before anyone could file charges or close the noose, that smells like WINNING to Donnie...

As far as I'm concerned, Kelly is a goddamned national hero for spending the rest of his career trying to make sure Donald's administration isn't a complete disaster. How many other military men do you know of who have sacrificed their personal reputation to prevent the administration from going full retard?

From the perspective of Trump being a laughing stock Kelly is a bad thing. From the perspective of keeping people with the ability to destroy the human race stable this is a good thing. I think you are missing a few of the staffing improvements btw.

Kinda makes you wonder if the administration officials actually doing their job Kelly, Mattis, and even Tillerson just realized what a shiat show this would be with out them. I am kinda now envisioning Tillerson chatting with Trump realizing he is that farking stupid and deciding he needs to step in before Trump farks everything up.

This, really. When this administration is put into the history books, there should probably be some concerted effort to canonize General Kelly for his efforts in averting disaster.

Clark isn't as much a Nazi as a "Constitutional Sheriff" like Joe. Think 1880's wild west frontier town sheriff, "My word is The Law around here." Whether or not that word, you know, actually follows the laws of the land, is irrelevant. There are about 350 more of these guys around the country, each running their own little fiefdom. Scary stuff.

Clark figured out that he doesn't have to work anymore, he can make a comfortable living "writing" books and appearing on Fox, like Sarah Palin.
