If this is wrong they don't want to be right.

Joe...money laundering is a little different...and Donnie's services in making money come out clean is his business model.

Maybe running for President wasn't the smartest choice in keeping that on the DL though...

Wrong?  Wrong?  Well it's gone incredibly right for someone.

A campaign he was clamoring for and fed into, up until a tragic incident involving a certain giant cat eating his face.

2017-08-29 09:54:11 AM
Well, it certainly did have that feel to it, like Ben Carson or Newt Gingrich scamming the process in order to sell books and promote their brand.

Not money "making", but money "laundering".

"It just keeps going," Scarborough said. "You keep thinking they couldn't have done anything dumber than this - but they just did."

I don't understand what was dumb about this.  Trump did some stuff and now is the POTUS, doing whatever the fark he wants, and making a whole farking lot of money off of being the POTUS, facing no repercussions whatsoever.  I mean, he's certainly smarter than all of us.  So if he's dumb, what does that make our country?

2017-08-29 09:59:28 AM
Why did no one warn us of these possible Russian ties before the election?

Well this should make for some entertaining tweet rants by the shiatgibbon.

Wait, hang on, I think I have a flow chart somewhere around here for what I should do in situations like this, let me have a look...

Running for office and losing would have been smart.  Any investigation into Trump would have looked like political retribution.  He would have been smarter to lose and if you look back it almost looks like he was trying very hard to lose.

Trump would be like the Koch brothers if his brother was still alive he would sue him for money lots of money huuuge amount of money because money is thicker than blood

Then...Joe...explain why you and Mika were partying with him at New Years?  No one suggested you watch all the news on your own network about Russia?

Or just wanted a piece of the action too?

This should make for an amusing outburst from President Man-Baby about how terrible the show is and how he totally doesn't watch it at all.

You have identified the problem. There are many experts around the World weighing in on this, but in the end it will probably be a question for historians to argue about for centuries.

I've been saying this for months: Trumps "fortune" is basically a money laundering scheme using overpriced licensing contracts. Kind of brilliant

I smarted this,

The HRC campaign was screaming about Trump's Russian ties. Why didn't all these self-congratulating media outlets pursue it then?

As a gambit, Putin wins no matter what would happen. He wanted a weaker U.S. Running Trump would have weakened Hillary had she won. Trump's winning weakens America faster.

Honestly, does it really matter? Maybe they are flipping sides for ratings, hatred of Trump, or maybe they've had a true epiphany. Great. The damage is done. I'm interested in useful ways to take down the Trump admin quickly and without losing even more of our standing in the world. The dishonesty and lack of integrity in the press (especially these two) is old news.

Because Trump was saying incredible shiat every day. Why have an investigation that costs tens of thousands of dollars when you can just print the latest outrageous things that Trump says and sell the same number of papers/clicks. News has become entertainment, I really shouldn't have to point that out in a Fark politics thread in the middle of the work day, but here we are.

If you're as crooked at Trump, winning the most highly-scrutinized job in the world is not smart. But his ego wouldn't let him drop out. He loved the attention and adoration too much, and I don't think he thought he would win. And now he's stuck doing a job that requires a lot of actual work, which he hates, and watching his years of shady dealings get dragged into the daylight while the people in Congress and his cabinet he thought would protect him stand by and watch because they care more about their own careers than him. And to be fair, he couldn't care less about them, either.

Trump: "Surely the American people aren't dumb enough to elect me."

American people: "Challenge accepted. And don't call us Shirley."

"Other than"?  If her behavior on the show is any indication of sexy time with her then I'd guess she just lays there disinterested, occasionally saying something that may or may not be helpful or on-topic.  I can't imagine it would be that much fun.
