Nice! I saw him a few years back at the Henry Fonda theater in Hollywood.
Brilliant and funny.

TFA's author seems to have missed the crux of the Guardian's review: "it's quite funny and creative, less a skewering of Trump and more a therapy session for those of us already exhausted, after just seven months, by his presidency."

It's Friday, and I plan to spend the weekend blasting the new Keshawith my sunroof open.

Stopped reading right there. If those are your entertainment plans then your entertainment opinion means nothing.

I don't think of him as much of a dancer or singer.

Even for a critic.

I don't have high hopes for a Michael Moore stage musical, but even so.

In retrospect, swinging him over the crowd by wires was not a great idea.

It was when he took the stage covered in balloons that all doubt was removed.

"The documentarian's one-man show, which opened on Thursday..."

Documentarian....that's funny.

Michael Moore's Broadway show might be terrible, it might be good, it may be neither, but you'd never know it from this one paragraph "review" which basically boils down to:

"Stuff is boring, thinking is hard, I'd rather be watching TV, the new Ke$ha CD is great".

Yay "liberally biased media".

God knows that Ke$ha's music (maybe not the lyrics, though) has more depth than anything Moore has put out.

/What a partisan hack.

I am a fan of Moore's movies. But the last one, Trumpland I think, was just him on stage talking to an audience. I am assuming that it was similar to this show.

I really don't think he's that good of a speaker. He's fine when he's narrating his docs but just talking to the audience he's quite disjoint and rambling. So I am not surprised if this show isn't good.

I saw Eddie at the Town Hall in New York back in June. Good show, but the most uncomfortable seat I've ever occupied, and the balcony speakers either weren't working or weren't turned on.

The schadenfreude I experienced reading that was almost orgasmic. I thank you for your suffering.
