I'm a big fan of this show, but seeing the constant stream of fellatio pieces like this has me annoyed. It's not enough to just report that this hidden game exists, authors feel the need to pepper their articles with gushing praise and high accolades. It's a f*cking animated TV show on the stoner's network, not Donald Trump.

The burp/vomit tic is the one thing I dislike about R&M, which is otherwise a fantastic show.
My girlfriend, who loves Venture Bros and Archer as much as I do, won't even watch R&M because of it.

I am so tired of hearing about this show. Threadjackers all over the internet are turning serious political discussions stupid with Rick & Morty memes. Non-stop memes and puff pieces on websites about a stupid f*cking McDonald's dipping sauce from the 90s. I'd thought about watching Rick & Morty... going back and getting caught up, but I'm already sick to death of this show and I've never seen a single episode.

Seriously, there is such a thing as over saturation. I actually want this show to die, but there's obviously a lot of money in it, so it'll take years to wait this out.

Fine, have your fun, but it really is out of control, folks.

There's a kind of person that tends to become angry when something becomes popular, and just wants to be contrarian.

Rick and Morty is awesome. Wifey and I can't wait for tomorrow's episode, and it's a shame the season can't be longer.

There is also a kind of person that can't accept that anyone could dislike the things that they like, and they cloak themselves in denial.

There's all sorts of people in the world.

Considering it's becoming popular enough to have its own contrarian backlash though, it could just be a good show that isn't for everyone. I mean, pretty much nothing is for everyone, but not everything is good enough to compel jerks to obsess about how they don't like it.

IMHO, Rick & Morty is an outstanding show that really isn't for everyone.  ( and that's OK.)

/ the printed Chick Tract satire in the season 1 DVD set ("The Good Morty") made a believer out of me!

THIS.

I ignored Rick & Morty until they took over the "couch gag" opener on one episode of the Simpsons. I haven't laughed that hard in years....

You watched a single episode of a show in its 3rd season and you think you know enough to judge it.

/Pickle Rick isn't really that good of an episode IMO. Try Rixty Minutes or Meseeks and Destroy

The reason people like the show is the serious and philosophical tones that run throughout.

I think Pickle Rick was one of the best episodes. It was just so efficient in the Solen'ya storyline. It had me hooting.

Not such a fan of Financing The Stone, in contrast.

Yeah, there's a little oversaturation going on, but seriously...that's irrelevant.  You're just being a dick about this.  It doesn't help your argument, and it makes you look petty.

Why is it hard to accept that there is no show in the history of television that everyone likes? I mean you are sensitive to the point of name calling, so obviously you feel personally invested for some reason. Getting personal hardly puts you on the moral high ground.

His comment admitted it was oversaturated now, and others in this thread have directly acknowledged it isn't for everyone.

Yes, we do not disagree with the oversaturization part.  We just disagree with you wanting it to "die" and saying people that disagree with you are in "denial".  Hence you being called a "dick" in return.

I can upgrade my epithet to asshole, if you want, but I don't think that was necessary as your concern was well-founded.

Fair enough. Then I'll go with Rick & Morty fans have surpassed Doctor Who fans, Star Trek fans, and Star Wars fans on being irritating zealots. Can't imagine why people don't want to emulate such warm and positive folk as yourselves. It's a mystery for the ages.

I honestly thought that was a sneaked-in fark reference.  But not even farkers have mentioned it.
