Close.  My favorite drink is the Aviation, and that uses Creme de Violet, not lavender.

Weirdly the violet isn't usually what the drink needs more of.  That's almost always fresh lemon juice.  If there isn't enough it takes too much like plain gin.

I'm not a huge lavender fan, it can add an interesting twist in taste if done right, but it's too easy to add too much and far too often anything flavored with lavender comes out tasting like perfume.
