"No, seriously. Most people suck. Not just professionally. Just as people. They are whiny, needy, entitled little brats," says man who created litmus test to isolate himself from people with different opinions.

I think it means his clients include people who carry around pocket annotated Constitutions and aren't necessarily opposed to a hostile takeover of a wildlife refuge in Oregon.

Wait till he finds out that what people say on applications isn't necessarily always the truth. Or that just because someone is "proud to be an American" doesn't mean they are good at their jobs.

Marketing company out of Manchester, CT (population ~60,000). When you think marketing, does a 60K person city in the middle of Connecticut come to mind?

Now, I'm a total supporter of small businesses and entrepreneurs, but stay in your lane. Be good for your community, employ a few locals, attend the PTA, have a nice life.  But know that being a marketing guy in Connecticut means one thing: You can't farking cut it in New York City.

Translation: you will bend over and take it up the ass whenever I say, as often as I say, or you're fired.

Serfdom is back in style in Trump's America, baby. Once we eliminate healthcare and welfare, you'll have nowhere else to go, biatch. And after we pollute all the air and water, we'll sell you clean stuff at a 100% markup at the company store.

How do you like them apples, biatch? Serves you right for not being born to wealthy parents.

Sailed with a Scot that said discussing the exit at home usually resulted in a fist fight between family members.  Same with me and mine with Trump.

In two years when this guy's company is out of business because no one wants to work for him and his customers don't want to be associated with a giant raging asshole, how many different ways do you suppose he will come up with to blame the liberals for it's failing?

My guess?  No less than 4.

Oh I don't know.  We're trying to get our data entry employees to have an error rate below 75% (that is, they're entering 25% of their data in properly).

Their responses so far:

1) Those aren't errors because not putting in something is not an error.
2) It is impossible to have a lower error rate.
3) You never told us that entering in information correctly mattered.

Well, they're something alright.

Okay, I get the idea of not wanting whiny, entitled morons for employees. But apparently, he's confused this with "liberal," and has created a test to screen for that. I've got news for you, moron. Both liberals and conservatives can be whiny and entitled. You're a great example of this.

Here's a few hints: I support people's right to bear arms. I also believe that more should be done to reduce the number of guns that end up in the hands of criminals. Also, it might not be a bad idea to make sure that people know how to safely handle and use a firearm before they buy one.

I don't oppose law enforcement officers. I oppose crooked law enforcement officers. I oppose police that shoot unarmed people. I oppose police who don't respect civil rights. I support police who follow the law themselves, behave in a professional manner, act with integrity, and treat the people they interact with respectfully.

Privilege is a state in which you get an advantage not through merit, but through belonging to a specific group, be it based on race, gender, religion, or wealth. And people who are in a privileged position should probably acknowledge that fact, and not assume that those not in that position are lesser than you.

Obviously, i wouldn't be able to get a job at this guy's company. It's okay though- I wouldn't want to work for someone who has his head that far up his own ass, anyway.

Some of what he asks is perfectly legit. If you work around and with gun people who carry guns and market them, yeah you should be good with guns.

Tying that to "whining" is just garbage though. He's basically conflating people unsuitable to that environment with snowflakes and people who suck.

I will agree with his central thesis, people suck. And probably a good 10% of people should just be paid to sit at home on their asses rather than detract from the productivity of everyone else. And there are certainly many workplace mismatches. No doubt his test reflects exactly what he wants from his company. But it doesn't measure what he thinks it measures.

It also says that as consumer I can't trust anything this marketer presents me. Either he doesn't know what he himself creates, or he deliberately misrepresents it. Or both.

D135: CEO creates Snowflake Test for job applicants

What kind of CEO creates an HR test?  Get HR to do it.  Do you even business, bro?

HR only recommends hires who look and act like them. That's not what anyone wants, whether for their employees or their coworkers.

/Smart companies use small tests to weed out potential problems.
//What they don't do is talk about it like this guy.

"Not just professionally. Just as people," he continued. "They are whiny, needy, entitled little brats."

Translation: Expect to be yelled at for asking for a raise after working there for 5 years.

As for the crying question, Reyes said he doesn't mind admissions of tears - but "I'm not gonna give you a safe space at our company."

Translation: Expect to be yelled at. Often. For things you had nothing to do with.

Yeah, you don't want to work for this assclown.

"She 'demanded' I remove the test or risk losing out on 'perfect employees' like herself."
Reyes' response?
"Bummer," he wrote, adding a message back to the jilted job seeker: "Well, snowflake, it's back to the heaping pile of applications for me."

¯\_(ツ)_/¯  definitely not someone I would want to work for, but good for him, I guess.

Someone should double-reverse-negative-anti-troll him by having the "Pharma Bro" take his test---along with a random sampling of geniuses and great and respected people like maybe the Pope, Stephen Hawking, Noam Chomsky, etc.  Then we put him on TV and have him explain why the the most punchable loser in the country is his kind of guy and all these other people are on the other side.
