Over looking the Straights of Gibraltar. (Africa across the way.)
I imagined the number of pirate vessels that have passed through here.
And the number of ships that have come through to open up a can of whoop-ass on said pirates.

From the FIRST robotics competition "Breakaway" (2010).  They named the robot Jolly Roger because of the grappling hook.  At the end of the match, bonus points were awarded for robots that cling onto either of the two towers in the center of the field.  Video of one of Jolly Roger's matches here.  Jump ahead to 1:50 to watch the Jolly Roger use it's grappling hook to rise up the tower for the bonus points.
