Comming soon to a theater near you:

Ali & Lindros, the drooling idiots.

That's a misleading headline. Leaving early because you feel disoriented is quite different from being knocked out cold.

I'd feel disoriented too if my head was jammed up my ass...

Does Ali not have nipples?

Eric Lindros went to the Pat LaFontaine school of hard knocks. He should just hang 'em up, before he ends up permanently in la-la land. Apparently it runs in the family.

In other news, Bruins win...again. Wooo-hoo!

he should transfer over to ice skating instead of ice hockey - no more concussions, gold medal in the salt lake olympics, big hero, problem solved.

I've watched this guy since his early days in the OHL with oshawa, the guy is awsome in a word, but this kind of thing will happen to anyone if they went into the corner like this guy, I give him nothing but props. Consider that he gets hit ten times as much as anyone else in the NHL, but you don't see any threads on him jumping right up like a true canadian 99.9% of the time. Besides he can hit like stevens, kick the crap out of anyone as if his name were Probert and then turn circles around an entire team like Yzerman and make a fool of any goaltender like Mario, so whats everyones problem with the guy? I think the problem is fear, like everything else humans fear they try to kill it, and opposition surely fears this dude, and well, they send a bunch of goons to slaughter him. What he needs is a good ole henchmen like probert, Nylon, Grimson...etc. but it would kinda look silly getting a goon for a guy who is 6'5'' 275, and can handle his self.

Whoever posted this, he wasn't knocked out cold. Get your figures straight.

Ah, but Cyberhoser forgot to list what Lindros does best: skate with his head down over the middle. Don't get me wrong, the guy has undeniable talent and a massive frame to put it to use but... well... I wouldn't want him on my team, not with the possibility of him getting sidelined forever so high... oh, go 'hawks

Mr. Jello Brains should hang the skates up. Sure he's a great player, but I wouldn't spend millions on a guy who is going to be as useless on the ice as the towel boy if he takes one more pop in the noggin. I've played hockey a long time, I've been injured, but I know when to get off the ice.
Go Hawks

Say what you want, i havent checked recently, but as of thursday, rangers were in the lead in the atlantic division

it was a couple of months ago, and i am 20 years old, before i found out that "glass jaw" is a figure of speech, and not a horribly debilitating elective surgery.

was at the game..DAMN THE RANGERS :( Did not seem that severe a hit at all. Everyone at the shark tank was wondering what happened...

Love the fact that the ESPN ariticle mentions NOTHING about the most disputed part of the night, the referee, double ruling of a goal, disputed, upheld, then overturned in a very bizarre and confusing turn of events.
As mask mentioned as much as I HATE the rangers they got a really strong team with some phenom. scoring guys.

sheesh...and to think Dallas tried to get this guy.......

one hit away from eating oatmeal from a straw and watching
Jeopardy re-runs from the "I'm a sprout of Brocoli" Happy Hills Home for Veggies........

sad.

Rangers may be in first right now, but look at their losses and also their goals against. As a rabid Flyers fan I can tell you that we are quite happy with the way things are going. Biggest problem with Lindros is that his Dad is his agent and they have always gotten their way. He is great, but also super spoiled and if he is stupid enough to go into the corners like he does, we have no sympathy here in Philly. The fact that almost every team has 2 big bruisers out every night who are not afraid of him, and add in his concussion history, and you have a drooling fool waiting to be born. If he used his head more instead of his body he would last longer, but as far as I am concerned, that big spoiled brat can just retire and never get to set his hands on the Cup because he certainly does not deserve it.

Well, the Rangers refer to concussions or headaches as "getting his bell rung", as they had mentioned had happened to Lindros after the collision with Mark Smith of the Sharks. They also said that Radek Dvorak has gotten his bell rung after a concussion he received in October. As for the standings, the Rangers are in first, but at the same time, they have played 4 more games than both the Islanders and the Flyers, and while I haven't checked what Philly and the Rangers had done last night, as of 10pm EST last night, the Rangers were 2 points ahead of the Islanders and 3 points ahead of the Flyers.

On a side note, last season, the Islanders and Flyers had reached a trade agreement for Lindros, but Lindros rejected it, while still on his trade me to Toronto or else phase.

It is only a matter of time before Lindros goes down for good. No that I want to see him get hurt but I am sick of this guy being held up as the next Great One.

Toronto trade...from what I understood the big sticking point was that Toronto did not want to let go of Kaberle, a defenseman that Philly really needed.

Don't care anymore. The Flyers are finally gelling and the Cup run is going to be quite a spectacle when they bring Lord Stanley's Chalice down Broad Street.

HotDog, I want the Stars to go back to playing at Reunion, this real ice stuff is killing the game...Give us back the slush!
