Welcome to Farktography!

This Week's Theme: "Same Stuff , Different Day"

Description
: Photograph things you use every day. Difficulty: no cameras or camera gear

We ask that before submitting your photos you read and adhere to the following submission rules, including but not limited to the following:
- Submissions must be photographs; screen captures do not count as photographs.
- You must be the original photographer of your entry. Do not submit anyone else's photography as your own.
- You are only allowed to enter a photograph once. Do not submit the same photo to another contest later.
- You may enter 3 photos in each contest as long as each photo is of a different composition.
- Please post each photo separately so they can be voted for individually.

Please note:
The overarching ideal behind Farktography is that image corrections are acceptable, while adding or removing elements in the image (e.g. removing telephone poles, adding Elvis) is not acceptable. Levels, curves, contrast, saturation, crop, and black-and-white conversion tools may be used judiciously, but not to cartoonish or unrealistic extremes. Avoid applying artistic filters for the purpose of mimicking film, tilt-shift, toy camera, etc type effects. HDR and panorama stitching either in-camera or in post processing are not allowed unless specified for a particular theme (true multiple exposures done in-camera are acceptable, however). See the rules for more information on acceptable modifications, or check in at the Farktography Forums.

Legal: All photographers submitting photos to this contest are the legal copyright holders for the photos submitted and the photos are not to be considered free for any other use without written consent from the submitting photographers.

Thanks!
Soda bottles work better than the plastics. The plastic containers stack better though.

I'm a designer by trade, so I end up doing a lot of production work over the course of a day... On this day, the scape from the black board I was trimming ended up looking like this as I was moving them off to the side. I guess only some folks will get it, but it cracked me up that day. : )

A metal bolt from an old overpass that was torn down near my house... A friend of mine was working on crushing up the concrete, and this almost took his head off. He gave it to me as a gift. : ) I use it to demonstrate shots, angles and composition with my digital photography students.

I do believe that is the first time I have ever seen a shot of yours that is not some cool mountain or outdoor scene.

Thanks. Very fortunate to live in this part of BC, would hope those photos convey my love of wild places. Thanks as well for sharing your great shots too! Likewise to all the folks who frequent these contests always a cool way to spend some downtime checking out some cool, creative photos.

Thanks for another great week folks!  I'd like to take a moment to welcome back keylock71 and lizyrd, whom we hadn't seen in about a year--hope we see both of you back next week!

Results aren't final until the thread closes sometime in the next few hours, but at this point, congrats to top finishers CiliarySpasm, Queen Mab, and Kenny B!  Final winner (or winners in the case of a tie) will experience internet infamy via the weekly Fark NotNewsletter after the thread closes.

See everyone next week for "It's complementary"!
